Makes me smile how different it is both sides of the Atlantic here we in Britain are thinking about an Autumn election this year and Newt is being asked if he has enough time for an election that is to be held in the winter of next year.
I have to wait until 11am here in West Palm Beach to have my senses assaulted by her Thighness.
Chris is asking some pretty good questions this morning. But the PIAPS is mouthing the same tired phrases of her lefty claque. Where’s the leadership? A real leader would break away from the crowd and say something shocking, like ‘I support General Petraeus and his efforts to eradicate Al Qaeda presence in all provinces of Iraq’.
Hope he brings up Norman Hsu.
Good Morning snugs. Christmas Cakes? I was going through my cookbooks for some ideas for Thanksgiving. We’re having a bunch, so I was trying to get some ideas for sweets. I’m a good cook, but not so great a baker, terrible with pie crusts.
When he can get a question in. He's showing too much deference to her getting her talking point across, rather than talking over her as he's done with guests in the past.
Are we suppose to be drinking when she says “you know”? Is it too early?
So many things he could ask, so little time. We’ll see if he does.
I’d be impressed if someone actually had the guts to ask her if she thought the “Lesbian” question was improper.
Probably a little early, but if you started now you’d be so backed up you woulnd’t finish until late this afternoon.
I have read that Brit Hume was behind the decision to fire Tony Snow as host of FNS and replace him with Wallace. Since the change, the ratings have steadily fallen. Also read that Brit is going to retire. Maybe that is why he just does not seem to care anymore.
Carry on, folks. I've already had enough of her for one day.
How about asking "How do we Win the GWOT?"
She-who-must-not-be-elected
“The so-called leaders who would have supported him from - France, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Czech, Poland, Columbia are all gone.”
Yes but Ortega, Castro, Putin, Chavez, Assad and Stinky Imawhackjob all are still around and willing to give an endorsement.
They want their cake and to get to eat it to.
IMHO the best advocate for women in public life but remaining the correct balance is Lynne Cheney she had/has a career of her own but knows when to back off and when to go on the offensive and never pulls the sisterhood card.
She got where she got on brains and obviously connections but not by affirmative action.
snugs, what kind of cakes are these? Are they fruit cakes?
The election is 14 months away, the polls mean nothing at this point and even if you want to place some credibility in them what about her sky high negatives. The media never really mentions them or the fact no one has ever one with them as high as hers. It will be most difficult if not impossible for opinions formed over 16 years to be altered in about a year. Especially with the ongoing scandals about the campaign finance in CA as well as the new one with her latest Chinese friend, HSU.
The lame stream media has lost much of it’s influence as is evident with the success of the Swift Boat vets in 2004. If anything they have less credibility and reach then they did then.
WE have several candidates who can speak about the importance of national defense and it’s importance, something no lib can do. And make no mistake about it, even with all the hoopla about the health care issue, it is only important to about 8% of people who were asked about what is most important. Iraq and the economy came in at, I believe 26 and 24% respectively.
The mission of the lib media is to dishearten and discourage the Republicans so they will not bother to vote (the inevitability factor). Just stay focused on winning and VOTE!!
We do NOT know that she returned the money.
For all we know it was just passed in a circle from her hand back to the “donors” through some “charitable organization” and right back into her coffers.
All nice neat and laundered.
