Wallace just can’t stop the filibuster. So much for a hard hitting interview. No question about Hsu or immigration or her baggage [scandals] as a candidate. Wallace just throwing her softballs.

yes, good point, BUT...it would be nice if JUST ONE f’ng reporter would pin her down...corner her w/ her own words.

She will never allow that to happen.

Fortunately, it doesn't need to :)

I concur, this “interview” with Wallace and Clinton is absurd. He doesn’t have the guts to interrupt her and question her answers. It is nothing but a one way dribble of information from Hillary to Chris.

He does continue to question her about condemning the Moveon.org ad; which she refuses to do. And why doesn’t Wallace ask about all those attacks against President Bush when he was in the TANG?

Then she goes on and on about extricating us from Iraq without acknowledging any of the advances we have made there.

She is taking a position to defund the war and then goes on and on about her strong support for the war. What a waste of time. I don’t think Wallace is doing a very good job at all.

Actually, the whole ad issue is a diversion. We need more substantive questions.

If these are the hardballs, the other shows are going to be nothing short of butt-kissing fests.

Wow, none at all? Now I'm really wondering about preconditions....

Clinton dodges the question--How can you purport to support the troops when you refuse to fund them?

Hillary says she just wants to bring troops home. She wants to establish a program to recognize their valor. HUH?

I can't believe I am listening to this mountain of steaming B.S.

OMG--she finishes with the witch's cackle...perfect!

Chris Wallace fondly licking Hillary Clinton. :( You would think that the crocodile would want another bite of Clinton after that interview with Bill.

Hsu gets a pass.

Last question pertains to Columbia and Ahmedinejad and Columbia— should they rescind the invitation? Clinton says “it’s up to them.”

There’s the cackle again.

They wanted the ratings.

If that 's Wallace's goal, he FAILED miserably. When Tony Snow was there they used to get 1.9 million viewers. Last week's FNS rating - 1.03 million.

Hillary dodges the question-”Do you repudiate the MoveOn.org ad?” She chastises Wallace for asking the question—don’t take me off the focus of getting out of Iraq.

Actually she did repudiate it, but put it in an all inclusive category stating that Senator Kerry was attacked the same way and it should all stop.

Nope. And no interruptions. She just goes on and on and on.

This is a well rehearsed tactic. When asked a question you don’t like, give a huge long rambling answer to kill airtime and minmize the number of questions that can be asked. She’s giving 5 minute answers to every Russert question. Not a word on Hsu yet.

Well Newt is right. The divide is shaping up to be more and more between the entrenched moneyed interest and the average people. Problem is the Democrats have so successful demagogue over the years most Democrat voters still cannot grasp that the people they are voting for are the ones holding them down.

Hillary stays on message and Wallace isn’t smart enough to get her off of it. The questions were pure pap. Nothing of real substance.
