“I really hate to think where this new injunction, “thou shalt not cause alarm” may take us.”

For many, many years, there has been a law against “inducing panic.” Only current, or latent, anarchists would have big problems with a law like this.

Are you current or latent?

Star did not cause a panic among the airport visitors. No reports of people fleeing for their lives because of a terrorist bomber wandering around the terminal. Only a deluded, ticked off, imperial information booth operator decided the decorative wires, LEDs and battery were dangerous - subsequent to non subservient behavior on Star's part.

Star probably wouldn't have fared any better had she worn a T-shirt that had a picture of an exploding bomb on it. As it was, to most the apparatus was no more threatening than a singing birthday card.
