WABC-TV ^ | September 19, 2007 | WABC

Posted on 09/20/2007 6:22:30 AM PDT by Tulsa Ramjet

A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m.

The source says regardless of the NYPD's rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran's president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States.

just missed your pig post by one...probably think it is writer infringement...or you could admit great minds think alike...maybe we could sell ham sandwiches at the site (since i don’t really have a pet pig, not even a stuffed one)

>>Of course...due to the potantial citizen reaction and the potential for violence. In this case, those are valid grounds and reason enough to say no, IMHO.

And I hope, if he follows through and tries to visit the site, that the people of New York will bear that out...by the tens of thousands.<<

I hope they do protest. I hope they don’t use violence and put the police and Secret Service in the situation having to use force to defend the SOB.

“I say the hell with permits … Lower Manhattan should empty out about 9:00am and surround the WTC site about 20 people deep. Let’s see the Secret Service try to ‘make a hole’ for this POS.”

Works for me. Make the SOB walk a gauntlet of contempt and disapproval.

Yes. You are missing something. Apparantly now the only recourse we have to fight back is to surround the nutjob with flags that can be photoshopped out of his propaganda pictures later. Sigh......

I’m picturing a human wall of NY’s (and others) finest and bravest preventing him from getting anywhere close.

We need to lay down a suppression layer of bacon bits and ham hocks. I don’t want him in my country at all, but I’ll be damned if I waant him near that site.

I agree...and they should all be encouraged to bring pig fat or grease to throw at and on this Piece-of-Shi'it in the process when he arrives. Talk radio could make this happen.

This is exactly how this should go down...tens of thosuands of American people...citizens...doing what our own elected officials do not have the spine for.

OK ham sandwiches are neater.

But your enterprising New Yorker should be selling slices of bacon at a buck a throw.

Throw... hmmmmm

Also, while we’re at it, protestors should be encouraged to bring their dogs.

Another suggestion: All female protestors who care to do it should show up scantily clad. That ought to p.o. the Iranians and screw up any photo-ops at the same time. Plus we could start rumors about Ahmadangnut job ogling all the satanic western women.

And the secret service. Would they shoot an American citizen to protect this terrorist piece of scum? This is the position President Bush is putting the American security detail in.

Why don’t we let the mafia escort him?

I say we go all out with hospitality and let every Union member in NYC escort him.

We know you have freedom of speech here at FR, but so do I. And I’m here to tell you that we’re danged sick of you Bush-haters.

Oh please. I was a Bush fan and Bush supporter. But I am sick and tired of his wimpish attitude towards our enemies. He simply won't go for the jugular. His laissez-faire attitude towards Iran is infuriating. Remember the "Bush Doctrine"? Because Bush doesn't seem to.
