Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero "he'll go despite NYPD rejection"
WABC-TV ^ | September 19, 2007 | WABC

Posted on 09/20/2007 6:22:30 AM PDT by Tulsa Ramjet

A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m.

The source says regardless of the NYPD's rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran's president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States.

Highly sdisciplined US Troops in dress uniforms should ring the site. Nut-job doesn't get in, and Al-Jazeera doesn't get it's propaganda win.

Where's Bush on this ? He could make it happen by uttering it.

I personally don't have my hopes up, but am preparing for another diasappointment.

>>>Tunnels? And New Yorkers don’t know where the tunnels are and how to get into them?

I'm not aware of too many in the tri state area that don't know about the NY/NJ tunnels. They are legend in NJ. NY is full of tunnels. They are pretty much game like to university students because you gain status in clubs and things by which entrances you know about.

This is a map of the published Columbia U Tunnel paths. The unpublished ones are known by being passed down from club members to club members.

What’s next? North Vietnam having a party at the wall?

What the hell is happening to this country? Columbia U. asking him to speak?

we should get about ten thousand freepers together to form a human wall and we should arm ourselves with pork chops and ham.

An attempted visit by Mahmoud to Ground Zero would be a most favorable opportunity to arrest the diminutive dipwahdi for his role in the 1979 kidnapping of our State Department personnel. We could then parole Lynndie England and her friends to provide round the clock guard service for the little jerk whilst he awaits trial and, hopefully, execution.

And doing nothing reinforces his arrogance that America is too weak to anything.

APPEASEMENT IS NOT AN OPTION

“And as much as I detest that little pest, he highlights the fact that GW Bush would not be allowed one scintilla of a moment in Mecca or anywhere in Iran.”

Do you think anyone in the muslim world cares? In fact, they expect it. I don’t see how we can turn this event into a democracy coup. People that want to cut your throat in the name of a pedophile prophet do not read John Locke.

It’s hardly controversial. Both Giuliani and Clinton are on record against the Nutjob’s visit to GZ.
Not as if the President has to see 2 sides to this issue.

A big angry mob (or worse, a small rag-tag mob) of flag waving Americans just reinforces Ahmadjenhdsadf 's rhetoric that Americans are bloodthirsty oppressors.

I think it's a stretch to call a bunch of flag-waving Americans a 'blood-thirsty mob', s_p.

I wasn't suggesting that they grab him and lynch him on the spot (thought that does makes for a pleasant thought) but that those whose lives were directly affected by the kind of murderous islamists that Ahmanutjob supports show their proud support for a country this tyrant hates and despises.

LOL I think it is funny that some people on here think millions of people will go and block him. People DO NOT CARE anymore. Americans have become weak. I am fairly certain this clown will make his way to wherever he wants and nobody is going to stop him.

Prove me wrong...

This is my country. This Iranian asshat has no right to even be here. I could care less what the world, muslim or non-muslim thinks of me or my country. Asshat, stay home!

Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero

How can our Commander-in-Chief allow the Fuherer of The Axis of Evil to desecrate the hallowed ground of our war dead?

Can we so soon forget?

The Firemen, Police, and other rescuers lost on 9-11-2001

Listen to the survivors who escaped down the staircases of the doomed World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, and expect to be overwhelmed by the aching appreciation for the faces on the URL link following.

For thousands of horrified office workers who fled the terrorist attacks, the most remarkable sight during their descent was the wave of determined firefighters advancing toward the burning sky.

"One fireman stopped to take a breath, and we looked each other in the eye," said Louis G. Lesce, who was on his way down from the 86th floor of 1 World Trade Center, the first tower hit. "He was going to a place where I was damn well trying to get out of. I looked at him thinking, 'What are you doing this for?' He looked at me like he knew very well. 'This is my job.'"

In all, 343 firefighters were reported missing or were identified among the dead. The number of casualties was staggering. Entire companies were lost. The previous biggest loss of life for the Fire Department was in 1966, when 12 were killed in a fire on East 23rd Street. But the numbers tell only a fraction of the story. The faces and names say far more. A father and son. A chaplain. A commander. A rookie. Strangers to most of those they passed on Sept. 11, but heroes to them all.

"They were perspiring profusely, exhausted," said David Frank, a salesman who escaped from the 78th floor of 1 World Trade Center. "And they had to go all the way to the 90's - straight into hell. This was not lost on the crowd. We all broke out into applause at one point..."

Remember the scene in World Trade Center where the Marine Vet put on his uniform and started searching the rubble while the bureaucrats sat around and debated safety ? He was joined by others while searching who had done the same ?

If I weren't in Alaska I'd go myself, but we should do everything to do the same to block nutjob. We should expect nothing from President Pollyanna on this. This will have to be handled by REAL Americans.

This is tantamount to allowing Emporer Hirohito to visit Pearl Harbor in the middle of WWII.
