Chinese Fighter with Stealth Feature Developed
Body of Russian Sukhoi-27 used, indigenously development which took 10 years

China developed Jian-10B, a first indigenously developed fighter employing stealth technology(see photo below,) and plans to unveil it in public.
According to Chinese media on Sept. 13, it took 10 years to develop Jian-11B, based on Russia-made 'Sukhoi-27' fighter, which China assembles in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, since 1996.
Especially, while 15 square meters of Sukhoi-27' surface can be detected by radars, only 3 square meters of Jian-11B are. Jian-11B's radar can track 20 targets simultaneously, and six of them can be attacked at the same time. In comparison, Sukhoi-27 can attack only two targets simultaneously. Using new materials, it weighs 700 kg less than Sukhoi-27, and is equipped with PL-12 missiles, a improved version of Russia-made R77. Experts are of the opinion that Jian-11B is comparable to F-16 of U.S. in its combat capability, and it is to become a main fighter of Chinese Air Force along with Jian-10 whose development was completed last year. China is currently working on Jian-13, and Jian-14 fighters which will have complete stealth capability, and their development is scheduled to be completed in 2009.

One thing to remember here. When we developed the stealth aircraft, we then immediately developed a plan to detect the stealth aircraft and naval ships. When a new weapon is developed, immediately following that is a design that counters that new weapon. The Chinese are way behind the times. When they develop something new, we have already developed a method to detect and destroy that weapon. That is the American drive to protect ourselves. They do things under orders.

i think its definitely a translation problem - the chinese probably meant this plane has "stealeth" features, as the plane's origin is from a Communist General's orders to his underlings...
"Hsu, goeth forth and thou must stealeth the plans for the American running dog F18 fighter which we will redesign using the golden mean ratio of .61 and build under the glorious name Jian 11b"

That looks like a Mig-29, or a chinese copy, not a Jian-11/Su-27

...thanks to our exchange student programs. Teach them how to
do engineering, and theyll rule the world with an iron PLA fist.
Some of their "plants" (students) learn First-World molecular
biology techniques in our universities.
Then they go home to China where there is no Jeremy Rifkin,
environmentalists (outside of jail), OSHA, EPA, and the like.
Thus they can REALLY use molecular biology in agriculture.
Either they'll end up owning world agriculture.
Or they'll starve the planet if they inadvertently create some
sort of super-bug/super-weed that gets out of their control.

The Cox Report, from a few years back, detailed all kinds of secrets that slipped out our back door and went to China, while clinton was in office.
It was Nixon/Kissinger that opened the front door

The year 2008 minus 10 years equals whose Presidency?

Even if this aircraft is not all that stealthy, the U.S. needs to start developing the technology to detect stealth aircraft and warships.
Stealth technology is like everything else.Sooner or later everyone will have it in some form, just like the atomic bomb.

Looks like an F/A-18 to me.Maybe it's a plastic model of the actual plane, and is therefore indead100% stealthy! (unless it has lead paint)
Here's the pilot.

ah, gotcha. next time, enclose your comment in a tag so I can pick up on it better.
To: timtoews5292004
What I meant to say is, there ought to be a “rhetorical” marker/tag, some way to know for sure.couldn’t tell just from the words.
To: Jet Jaguar
Actually the way their stealth works is there is a loud speaker fastened to one of the hard points. The pilot keeps yelling into a microphone, “Look over there, a baby wolf!”
