However, a “shopping mall” is a bit fractured for them to gather up people....schools would be easier to control.....in stores you’d have more adults who would think about running out back doors, etc....and scattering....in schools....it would be different....mostly children who would not think about running away.
I couldn’t disagree more. They aren’t motivated by ‘getting everybody’...they want to create an economic ‘shock’, which they got with 9/11 in spades. Can you think of a place better suited to get the point across to ‘average Americans’ than a shopping mall?
Second point, exits from schools aren’t as easily discernible then shopping malls, which are all based on a ‘wheel pattern’...the ‘spokes’ of which contain exists at the end of each. Pick the four corners of the compass, enter and begin shooting. The ‘flow’ will go in the opposite direction - its human nature. And we know whats in the ‘middle’ of every shopping mall in this nation, a ‘food court’. Usually visable from above, btw, in malls with two or more levels.
You want to curtail consumer shopping? Make it a death trap conceived by four to six jihadist/homicide bombers.
Its all ‘speculation’ but I think my scenario requires far less planning, with a much greater potential for economic ‘shock effect’ which the bin Laden’s of the world target routinely.
My next ‘favorite’ scenario (I know thats a weird way of putting it, btw) is an attack at a nationally covered sporting event.
One of the two Monday Night Football games will be played in Cincinnati tonight.....and the timing is evident given today’s date.

Those “Gun Free School Zone” signs have ever been an open invitation to criminals, terrorists and degenerates.

The Academic Left, which makes up 60% of leftist politicians and 90% of leftist media talking heads and University types will preach tolerance.
However, most Joe Schmoe Democrat voters are NOT academic liberals, they’re what I call “mislead” liberals. They vote Democrat because it “feels good” to do so, but deep down, they’re still patriots. They WILL be on the side of freedom if this happens.
But who would the Muslims be preaching to...their own Choir thats who. World-wide Muslim rage would be no concern to American parents demanding utter devestation be meted out on the same said Muslims where ever we can get to them! They could rage all they want the last few minutes before they were vaporized! If they want a religious war, then lets give it to them....”religiously” and with extreme prejudice!
I agree. Only the hardest-core of liberals (the ACLU types) will stubbornly remain as screwed up as they are now. Most of the Democrats I know are “soft” liberals. As long as it doesn’t affect them (neighborhoods, taxes, schools, “diversity” etc.) then they’re all for liberalism.
Let that change, and they’ll be over to our side before you know it.

He did .... good book, too. The title had ‘Tiger’ in the title, but I can’t remember the whole thing. I had chills when I read it because it hit ‘close to home’ for me - the mall was The Barracks in Charlottesville, about 60 miles up the road. The terrorists came across the Mexican border.
