READ: Psalm 15
He who does these things shall never be moved. Psalm 15:5
Bruce Weinstein is known as The Ethics Guy. His books and seminars challenge people to make choices based on principle rather than convenience or self-interest. In his business workshops, he often asks the participants, Why should we be ethical? He says that most responses center on the benefits of honesty and moralityavoiding punishment and having a clear conscience. While acknowledging that there are long-term benefits, Weinstein emphasizes doing the right thing because its the right thing to do.
Psalm 15 gives a vivid picture of the person whose conduct grows out of fellowship with the living God. The question LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? (v.1) is answered with examples from everyday living: He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart (v.2). It goes on to describe honest relationships with neighbors and friends (vv.3-4), along with integrity in business and financial matters (v.5). The psalm ends with the words, He who does these things shall never be moved (v.5).
Ethical living is more than a concept discussed in seminars. Its a powerful means of demonstrating the presence of Christ in our lives. Doing what is right is always the right thing to do.

Pfc. Andrew D. Bear, a team leader with Company A, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 6, pauses for a moment to inspect a weapons cache that he discovered, Aug. 23. The weapons cache was hidden just below the surface of an Iraqi field and contained more than 350 37mm anti-aircraft rounds. The rounds, if not found, could have been used by insurgents to make an IED. The large field the cache was found in was shown to the Marines by the local Iraqi Police, who also helped search alongside the Marines. Photo by: Cpl. Bryce Muhlenberg

Thanks, Sonora, for the perfect woohoo.
Actually, for once I have a request, but, of course, since it's Tanniker Smith, there's a story to go with it:
My SIL and BIL, who are also my tenants, are moving out tomorrow. Actually, most of their stuff has already been moved out because their house is only a block away. But even though they are moving from 4 rooms to 3 floors (including the finished basement), they are still tossing stuff. Tonight, I noticed next to the trash, a pile of LPs. And let me tell you that's it is nice to presently be in the company of people who know what those are!
Anyway, me being me, I quietly scanned through the collection, even though I didn't dare bring any into the house. Nothing that I needed anyway. My wife repurchased many things on CD, including the Monkees stuff, the Sting stuff. But there was one little oddity that I hadn't heard in years:
Kon-Kan's "I Beg Your Pardon", which sampled heavily from "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden", long before the current wave of oversampling. It was from back in the 80 IIRC.
Thanks in advance.
