LOL!! I drove down there in 1985 for the Buddy Holly Memorial Concert(that was the last place Buddy performed at before he died). I saw The Diamonds, Gary Lewis, The Rockin’ Hollywoods, Tommy Roe and Paul Waters, a Buddy Holly impersonator. Fans come from all over the country and even from Europe to attend these things.

My ex-inlaws lived there at the time, so it wasn’t exactly a sole trip just for a dance party. But it was great fun!!
