DFU,
Fred doesn't have the gumption to come to the debate tonight. He only acts like a candidate.

You can say all you want, Fred Thompson will be the only story tomorrow and ...... The rest showing up so early will prove to be the wrong choice.

Tancredo and Paul are doing good.

Only one doing poorly is Giuliani.

No, he needs more moonbat money to aid and abet the enemy and trash our troops with boots on the ground.

Bastard, he should hang.

It's obvious that there are some people who will never be satisfied with Iraq. We can stay there until 2020 and withdraw then and we'll still be leaving before some ill-defined victory is obtained.

Well said. The American people aren't in favor of a long-term commitment or further meddling in that s--thole Middle East. Let these 7th century heathens stew in their own juices, seal the borders here and ban Muslim immigrants from coming here. Sooner or later they'll get the picture.

That's the Ron Paul plan.

I’m not crazy about jihadists with guns on planes.

It will if the democrats take control of the White House and gain more power in the legislative branch and withdraw the troops. What will you have then?

You have to cross that bridge when you come to it. If America is going to surrender, let it be on the Dems watch not ours. November 2008 is still a ways off. Much can change/

It's obvious that there are some people who will never be satisfied with Iraq. We can stay there until 2020 and withdraw then and we'll still be leaving before some ill-defined victory is obtained.

BS. Victory is a stable Iraq capable of providing its own security and an ally in the WOT, i.e., not a sanctuary for militant Islamic fundamentalism. We are still in Korea, Japan, Germany, and Bosnia as well in hundreds of military bases around the world. When should we get out of Afghanistan?

You keep going door to door with that, Sir.

Soon you’ll win a set of steak knives.

McLame is looking weak as could be. Still beating that no torture drum. He’s a man who doesn’t learn easily.

McCain, bullshit.

Tell that to Menchaca and Tucker’s parents... tell it to the families of the contractors hung on the bridge and violated in Fallujah.

Does Wolfowitz blame America too?

"For bureaucratic reasons we settled on one issue, weapons of mass destruction, because it was the one reason everyone could agree on." Everyone meaning, presumably, Powell and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. "Almost unnoticed but huge," he said, is another reason: removing Saddam will allow the U.S. to take its troops out of Saudi Arabia, where their presence has been one of al-Qaeda's biggest grievances. "Just lifting that burden from the Saudis is itself going to open the door" to a more peaceful Middle East, Wolfowitz said.
