This calamity can be almost always avoided. I urge all FReepers to NEVER ignore symptoms of persistent leg pain, especially if it progresses to tightness in the chest, shortness of breath, or even feelings of indigestion.

Jennifer Dunn was part of “The Generation that knew Ronald Reagan” and witnessed the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Let us hope and pray that the next generation does not forget the lessons of the history she was apart of.

She thought they were rubes.

Do you suppose some of them might have been?

Prayers of comfort for her family and friends. Mrs. Dunn will always be in that picture of when conservative were elected to represent the people in the people’s house.

Job well done Mrs. Dunn.

Yes, Jennifer Dunn was one of the best politicians Washington state had ever sent to Washington, but her pro-choice stance and anti-prolife activism in the Republican party kept me from supporting her. However, it is probably what enabled her to win elections in her district.

Sad to see her pass away so young.

Yes, classy was what always came to mind in thinking of her. A great lady, a decent human being, a fine public servant. Very rare these days. Rest in peace.

I just heard about this and was so shocked. It is too bad she could not have tried for a Senate seat. Though WA is moving so far to the left I suspect even a “moderate” Republican like Dunn was too far right for them. She had even been mentioned as a potential GOP candidate for VP in the past. I am sorry to hear she passed away, and at a relatively young age.
