You take a very high minded and fairly modern view of sport. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, sport was not something associated with gentleman.
Yeah, those fox hunts where pretty base and uncivilized. Falconers are notoriously boorish and physically abusive to their animals.

Idiot. Dog fighting is a Culture that promotes illegal gambling, weapons, gangs and drugs in neighborhoods across the US, not just in the South. Lets numb kids to horrific suffering and promote enthusiasm for violence with a lack of respect for the law. Lets promote a Culture that brings illegal gambling, weapons, and drugs into our communities.

From the looks of Whoopi, she should probably be fighting in the ring herself. She looks more like a bulldog than a primate.

"How about dog torture and dog murdering," Behar asked.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that murder is a crime that involves the killing of a *human*. The irony that hard-core libs now think that dog-killing is the moral equivalent of murder, but abortion is just a "choice."
Makes me sick.

There is more animal fighting in CA than any state in the country, by far.

Yeah, those fox hunts where pretty base and uncivilized. Falconers are notoriously boorish and physically abusive to their animals.Although I did not directly state it, my comments were targeted toward this country in that time period. English gentleman and the English aristocracy is quite another matter. Their penchant for cruelty goes beyond animals, as a man I would not have wanted to be taken and put on one of their ships in the late 18th or early 19th century or even go to one of their all male boarding schools for gentleman as far as that matters.

"How about dog torture and dog murdering," Behar asked. It's not possible to "murder" a dog you stupid tw(a)it.

I actually agree w her for the first time....On the other hand she equates abortion less reprehensible than dog killing...so figure that one out...

Humane Society Auctions Off Vick's Talking Points
After Vick's four-minute speech, a rep with the Humane Society of the United States went up to the podium to retrieve his microphone, and found a a nearly illegible note left by Vick containing his talking points.

You're a dog lover. For a lot of people dogs are sport," she added.
Baseball is a sport. Torturing animals is evil.
Sell your moral relativism somewhere else, Whooped.

You were saying that “sport” has taken on virtues that it does not deserve. I pointed out in a sarcastic tone that “sport” did have virtue and it’s history was that of aristocracy who could afford the luxury.

No big suprise here. Whoopi would defend Jesse Jackson and the notorious double murderer O.J. Simpleton too.

What we do know is your memory is lacking on this topic. Not really. You simply can't seem to comprehend that different people find different things funny. You can play your tapes of the racist b!tch and roll on the floor laughing. I' d most likely look at them and get up and leave. I looked at the DVD of Ghost about a year ago and wondered why I ever bought it.

Nothing to do with Whoopi but I heard a clip of another black comedian who said this:
“You know, everyone is getting on Michael Vick for killing dogs. And he was killing dogs because they were losing, which is ironic because he plays for the Atlanta Falcons.”
