On the inside, a set of bathrooms at Emerson College looks like standard fare. On the outside, there are newfangled signs to ease the concerns of students who prefer not to signal that they are entering a men's or women's bathroom. The symbols are gender-neutral, a picture of a man and a woman. In response to students' pleas, Emerson has changed the signs that used to be aimed at a specific gender on 21 restrooms in campus buildings and one of the college's two dormitories. Emerson's changes, made in preparation for the upcoming school year, mirror moves by Tufts University and the University of Vermont, part of a small but growing number of universities modifying policies and facilities on behalf of transgender students. Several colleges have amended nondiscrimination policies to include gender identity, but student groups recently began pursuing more concrete changes, including gender-neutral housing, locker rooms, and bathrooms.

What? Gender Neutral? But not Species Neutral?
Leopard Man is gonna sue!
Kofi Anon took his Ski Vacations there. Of course it’s gonna be “Progressive.”
FYI - When the libs were whining about Pres Bush being slow to react after the Tsunami that hit Thailand Kofi was in Jackson Hole WY.
IIRC we already had the USS Abraham Lincoln on site giving humanitarian relief before Kofi released his first statement on the disaster.
Assumed this was scrappleface....
Close, it’s the Boston Globe.
The subway system in Boston had a guy that permanently bended his gender. The women didn’t want s/he in their bathrooms, and the guys didn’t want to be blamed for any “sexual harassment panda” graffiti, so they built a third bathroom, just for him.
At taxpayers’ expense, I assume
Many of the Ivies have unisex bathrooms, as well.
“Transgender” = a transvestite who wants to wear women’s clothes even when he is naked.
Oops, my mistake, The bathroom wasn’t “just for him”, anybody could use it, but obviously, none of the guys would use it, and the gals were content in their own space, so by default...., and yes, I do believe the “T” gets taxpayer subsidies.
So, the hildebeast can use either of them?
Not all that small, FRiend.
“Inmates, asylum, ect. Wonder if the majority if those “students” were men.”
I wouldn’t be one of those men. I’d prefer the mystery to the sights, sounds and used feminine hygiene products laying on the floor.
Having been forced to clean public bathrooms as a young’un I can honestly say the womens were much worse.
I hope these are one holers with a sturdy locking door. Otherwise something bad will happen.
I don’t much like sharing a bathroom with my husband, I don’t much like sharing a public bathroom with other women, I can assure you that I will not share a public bathroom with strange males.
I think this is going to backfire badly in the long run.
“I think this is going to backfire badly in the long run.”
Like Canada they’ll eventually want men to pee sitting down so things are equal.
Holy cow! What is that intended to mean?
You will notice that it’s just the northeastern states that are presently doing this, at least for now.
Gender-neutral means no urinals. I wonder how long these bathrooms will last when the women start complaining about piss all over the seat.

>>You have got to be kidding me.<<
Single stall mixed gender restrooms are actually useful for families with a child of different sex than the parent. So a father can take a 6 year old without taking her into the men’s room or him going into the women’s room. Or where there is both a young boy and a young girl.
There are a lot more families that there are transgendered, I would think.
But its funny the things you can get money spent on.
