Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the Palestinian people’s situation was like a wound in the body of the Islamic nation, and that the only way to heal this wound was by resisting the Israeli occupation, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported Wednesday.

“City Says No Evidence Of Terrorism In Pipe Bomb Blast”

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “The mayor says there’s no evidence a small explosion early Tuesday morning on West 29th Street was an act of terrorism, but he says the city is taking the incident very seriously.
Police say it was a pipe bomb that caused the explosion just after 1 a.m. in front of a four-story walk-up at 227 West 29th Street and Eighth Avenue.
No one was hurt in the blast, but it did blow out several windows, including the windshield of a red GMC van.
The building houses a theater owned by “Sopranos” actor Michael Imperioli. Police said they don’t know if the explosion is connected to Imperioli’s Studio Dante.
Three apartments located above the theater were briefly evacuated while a bomb squad determined there was no further threat. “
