Almost by definition American liberals can’t be hypocrites: they all deny there is such a thing as virtue, and call evil ‘good’.

If I am not mistaken Matthews is a supporter of the deviant crowd if they vote the Rat party.

I can’t imagine any Democrat/liberal having any problem with Craig’s behavior. He’s a criminal sexual deviant....the perfect DeomcRAT demographic. Maybe he should just switch parties....or maybe take a cruise with Mark Foley and Bonnie Fwank.

Crissy the horn dog may be right, but when he criticizes a Republican’s sexual deviance he sounds like a pimp dissing a ho that ain’t his.
To be fair, I think he meant “sexual deviant” because of his public restroom “cruising”. So for that we would need to compare the media reaction to, say, George Michael for the same thing, or Paul Reubens (Peewee Herman), or even Eddie Murphy (in public with a transvestite).

I do see the difference. It’s the hypocrisy that is so blatant. The republican party splits the country on gays only to have someone from the party whose been known to be a homosexual for decades exposed. Not only a homosexual but a bathroom kind of stall queer. The kind of individual that solicits strangers for bjs(a senator non the less). That is ultimately disgusting. But again no news here since everybody knew. Meanwhile he travels around the country going to churches promising to fight for “family values” while he’s on restrooms soliciting strangers. Are you high? This is what the republican party fights the most against. People knew and said nothing. This sort of thing will cost the party a lot of votes. I think others that knew about this should be punished also. But if we try to blame the media. Than we just show how we are just like everybody else and we deserve to get killed on the ballots.
If anyone's a hypocrite, it's Chrissy. Did he have such harsh terms for Barney Frank or Bill Clinton or Jim McGreevey? And -- wait -- why a "deviant"? I thought homosexuality was OK with the Libs. He'd better be careful, or they're going to demand his Liberal card back from him.

Thank you... I think some Freepers are posting straight from Bizarro World. They seem to believe the offense here is that a Republican is being picked on, not that an actual crime was committed.
It does us no favors to take this position (which is not difficult to construe as defensiveness). Crybabying that a Democrat would get away with it, when everyone remembers what happened to a certain governor not too long ago, only makes the situation worse.
