Rep. Bob Filner (D-CA) was involved in an altercation last night at Dulles Airport. He was allegedly angered by the amount of time it was taking to get his luggage and tried to push his way through the United Airlines baggage claim office. The release below is from The Washington Area Airports Authority.

DON’T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?
it takes a long time to rifle through all of our luggage to find sandal, shoes, cameras, pants and other things on their shopping list...bunch of thieves basically.
First you've got to hide the luggage from the cameras, second you've got to get your other friends to "look out" while you go through the stuff and pick out what you want...then it takes time to load it either on your body or in back packs and book bags...
jeez, you all don't know anything about stealing stuff.... I hate the airline baggage handlers. You used to be able to put cameras, etc... in your luggage without worrying that it was going to be a crap shoot if it got there.
Waiting for press release, he will be attending rehab.
He is another Cornell alum like Janet Reno and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Thank goodness we have Ann Coulter to even begin to balance things out.
Filner is a locked in Congressman...gets reelected each
time with no problem....former College instructor...so’
also, lived in close area to Cunningham....so - unless he
screws up like Dukee...is safe for years..so don’t waste
your time on him...stop the DemPresnominee...JK
Leave Alfred out of this! Slandering an American icon like that... Disgusting! :-)
Battlin’ Bob represents a district in the San Diego area that’s heavily Hispanic. He essentially wants to turn Southern California into Baja Norte. Judging by this, he’ll probably take a swing at you if you disagree.
What surprises me is that he actually thought pushing his way into the claims office would do any good. All they’re going to tell him is to watch the monitors. When your flight number pops up they’re unloading your bags.
(I’ve never been to Dulles but that’s how it works at McGhee-Tyson)...
