Rush Limbaugh |
He's been the target of aggressive prosecutors.
He's been targeted by Customs officials.
And now Rush Limbaugh, the king of radio talk-show hosts, is being targeted by activist Ralph Nader who is asking the Federal Communications Commission to investigate claims General Motors "payola" is influencing him to say nice things about the U.S. automaker.

Wow! Ralph is still alive?
I heard Rush say he got General Motors as a new advertiser.
In fact, he rather tongue-in-cheek took credit for a recent good report on GM, hinting the uptick was due to the sponsorship of his radio show.
Which could be, frankly.
I mean, how damn small can Ralph Nader be? No wait...here’s a used up has-been whose claim to fame was his “expose” of America’s unsafe auto industry, a big fat lie but at the time I was a pretty liberal lass and I thought Ralph Nader was a hero.
Now he runs for office, supported by a bunch of elderly kooks still thinking they can change the world.
What, it’s against the law to say something good about General Motors now?
Let this used condom of a human being keep up this stupid talk. He’ll be laughed out of town.
Too bad Ralph Nader is such a rusty old geezer that he can’t do to Hillary what he did to Gore.
As if he'd take the pay cut...
I have a feeling that Gore is going to do to Hillary what Nader did to Gore.
Well, duh, Rush got GM as a new sponsor. Like all new sponsors (e.g., Snapple), he gives plugs their products.
What would it take for Ralph bad mouth Nader to say something nice about someone or something other than himself??
A reporter asked him about this in 1967 with, You know, Mr. Nader, I just talked to your broker and he said that you bought shares in Ford. Ralph Naders explanation was, Those shares werent for me. Those were my mothers shares.
Who is Ralph Nader?

The test would be to see if Ralph can buy some influence with Rush and get him to complain about the Corvair.
It’s called a commercial, Ralph. jeeze, what a maroon.
Cool if he does!
If Algore and sKerry had a bit of sense, they would realize the obvious and that is that the Clintonistas did everything possible to ensure that they lost to Bush.

It’s none of Ralph’s business who Rush has for a client. Ralphie may not have noticed, but Sean H., Glenn Beck and several other conservative talk show hosts are advertising General Motors products, too. Is Ralph going after Tiger Woods for talking about Buicks?
We’re thinking about buying a new GM product soon...when the recession lets up.
I bet Rush is laughing at this. He’s not going to waste his time with Nader; IMO I think Rush respects Nader a little, since Nader is an old-school liberal and not the moonbat liberal that liberals are now.
I recall as a kid, listening to Arthur Godfrey bashing (sponsor) Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup, challenging listeners to find the chicken. It was the best advertising Lipton ever got.
He was also sponsored by Lipton Tea and praised them to the highest. Until he switched sponsors to another brand. I don’t recall which but perhaps Tetley??
Rush is going to have ALOT of fun with this on Monday.
Is it me or is the MSM doing more and more of this story dumping on Friday?
