I thought it was pretty funny. Sorry to hear its going away.
Bummer. I’ll miss the “commercials” mocking the ACLU.
The writing was terrible. I’m surprised it lasted more than two episodes. Fox could have done a lot better.
Interesting since one of Rush’s recent “vacations” was the trip to CA to tape some show episodes.
Good riddance.
Terrible show. It just wasn’t funny at all.
The only thing it had to recommend it was its political bent.
[1] It was Ann Coulter not Laura Ingraham who appeared with Rush on the first show.
[2] As I heard Rush state on his Rush Limbaugh show yesterday:
Two big programming notes:
Karl Rove will appear on the Rush Limbaugh Show in his first post-resignation announcement interview tomorrow, Wednesday, at 1PM ET.
In addition, Rush's hilarious skit will open a special edition of the 1/2 Hour News Hour, airing twice this Friday night, at 8PM and 11PMET on Fox News Channel.
a show with guest hosts such as Rush and Laura with only such comedy as they or their chosen guests might naturally inject into it would be just fine......these other turkeys who thought they were gonna be the SNL of FNC were pathetic.....not funny or thought-provoking at all.
Plus it never belonged on a frickin' news channel. Neither does Red Eye, The Lineup, Geraldo at Large, or the newer version of On the Record (post-Laci Peterson, when it went from news wrap-up show to Nancy Grace wannabe show).
First episode was good. Then it went lame.
“If they wanted a comedy show it should have been on Fox Entertainment, not Fox News.”
If they wanted a comedy show they needed to make the show funny. I watched it twice and thought it was pathetic and considerably non-humorous.
Made it through the first episode and was embarrassed for all involved.
FNC should never have aired it, maybe another channel, but FNC lost a lot of credibility.
They have news 24/7 and there might be a place for satire in that lengthy mix.
I watched a very little and didn’t think it was up to par.
Good concept, miserable execution.
I wanted to like it, but it was forced laughter at best.
Big deal. Conservatives can’t do TV news parodies, Libs can’t do talk radio. I think we win!
Well, it was a nice try, hope someone tries again!
This is a real shame. The last few episodes really seemed to be hitting their stride. The humor wasn’t as forced as it was in the beginning and it was actually on par with some of the funnier SNL “Weekend Updates”.
I thought the show was tedious, but the anchor babe was surprisingly hot.
the 1/2 hour comedy hour failed becaues it was portrayed as just another skit show. (and the hosts were just annoying in the commercial)
I watched rush and that was all via net. I had no need or wish to see the rest.
FoxNews doesn’t need a special half-hour program for comedy. Much of their content has become comedy.
I stopped counting and turned the channel after 40 continuous days of Anna Nicole Smith Foxnews Alerts.
And that is just one example the direction their programming content has taken. They compete more with E! than with CNN.
