Just posting my tagline... It’s an honor, sir.
Welcome, Congressman Hunter! We need you in the White House!
Sir, if you have time, what is your position on ‘earmarks’ and other projects - especially non-defense items? This ties in with your views on federalism (as espoused by the ANTI-federalists Mason, Henry, Lee, and Ronald W. Reagan)
Welcome Congressman.
I was wondering what is your position on major tax reform such as what is proposed in HR 25 (Fair Tax).
I am very glad to see someone address LOST. It has received no attention, virtually, and I am sure the average person has no idea that it even exists.
Continue, Sir, to give your direct, real, answers. We appreciate not being pandered to.
Welcome, Congressman Hunter. We are working hard for you on Free Republic, and praying for you, Sir. God’s speed!
My basic suggestion is that Congressman Hunter remain in the race for the long haul, using ‘92JerryBrown-’04HowardDean-JoeTrippy grassroots-building campaign tactics and be the stark ProFamily+Fair Trade advocate this nation needs.

Ahhh, meat and potatoes.
Rep. Hunter, this is Myrle Fuller, Fullervision News Service and host of a late night talk radio program here on FR.
You have been struggling as of late to gain recognition in the polls nationwide. For instance, you finished 9th in the Ames, Iowa straw poll. However, your strong following here as well as strong showings in other straw polls shows to me that your campaign has potential. What, Rep. Hunter, do you plan on doing in order to boost your national profile?
Go Hunter 08!
Many thanks to Duncan Hunter for answering these questions, and to all the Freepers involved in making this Q&A possible!
A good deal of primping and positioning takes place in politics. You are one of very few candidates running with a long record of actual ACHIEVEMENT (e.g. authoring the bill for the 854-mile fence, actual service to your nation in wartime). THAT is the message we and your campaign must disseminate - winsomely, but with passion.
God bless you, Lynne, and your sons in what promises to be a long campaign.
Congressman Hunter,
You have my support. You are the first Presidential Candidate I have ever sent a donation to. Hope you get a chance to visit Phoenix AZ soon.
Question, as President, what will you do to stop the attacks on our Second Amendment rights and prevent legislation like the ill concieved “assault Weapons ban” from being signed into law?
Congressman Hunter,
Thank you for choosing to do this and thank you for your continued service to our country.
As a blogger, I’m worried about the internet remaining a free and open forum. What actions would you take to protect blogs and open forums like Free Republic?

Duncan Hunter, how can all “political correctness” truly be successfully reversed until it’s truly eliminated for everybody for always? Political correctness screw up all issues all over the world!
Thanks Congressman Hunter.
The line-item Presidential veto as a popular key plank in the 1994 Contract With America, which would ultimately fall by Supreme Court ruling. Is there any chance of seeing the ball rolling on getting a constitutional amendment regarding the line-item veto so that sometime during the President Hunter administration can we see it applied to cut out all of the pork? Thanks.
Congressman Hunter,
You have been known as an ardent supporter of our military and the capmaings in the War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. How do you foreign policy views differ from the Bush administration?
I’m hoping he’ll take a page out of the Reagan rustbelt playbook and grab the Reagan republicans.
