Why do we bend over backwards to accommodate the Muslims? We give them their foot baths at Universities, we give them special rooms to pray at the airports, and we in some towns announce their prayer calls over loud speakers. We do this because we're afraid, if we don't, they'll blow up a building. What other reason is there? In this country, you can't say the word Christmas in any secular environment, yet we are allowing Sharia law to permeate every secular facet of society.

Nothing they do or believe makes any sense and learning more about them or trying to understand them isn’t going to improve that.
When cousins marry cousins marry cousins for centuries, insanity is the result. And they think that’s something to brag about - it keeps their line pure etc.
Even madness has a method.
These people have 13 centuries of having it givn to them with their mother’s milk that they are supposed to rule over everyone else.
They are establishing colonies throughout the west to this end, because we allow it.
The best thing we could do is lock them in the middle east away from their oil and tell them they will be allowed to rejoin humanity when they grow up.

Because, if we don’t, they get really, really pissed off and threaten to cut everybody’s head off. This makes it really, really hard for the Government to keep saying that “Islam is a religion of peace” with a straight face.
It’s easier to just give the spoiled brats whatever they want and keep lying to the people.
I think that this mess will come down to kill or be killed, Amen.
Thank you for all the laughs and especially all of the common sense. Kids nowadays spend years in liberal arts institutions of “higher learning” and never learn any common sense; not much book sense either come to think of it.
Having taken several anthropology classes in my college career, I think I may be able to shed some light on the liberal ethic that would state Judeo-Christian practices are incompatible with a secular modern state while Muslim practices must be accommodated for.
Anthropologists (and liberal academics) believe in the existence of three worlds: the first or developed world, the second or developing world, and the third or undeveloped world. We as Americans of course belong to the first world. Despite the fact that the first world has given to liberals all the luxuries they enjoy, their own moral relativism still leads them to believe that those in the third world are entitled to stay in the third world. After all, who are we as members of the first world to say that our way of life is superior to those in the third world such as the indigenous peoples of South America or the tribal peoples of Africa and the Pacific Islands? Furthermore, liberals believe it is their duty to go out of their way to maintain the supposed purity of these kind of societies, even if they adhere to codes and commit acts which do not mesh with that of modern society. How then does this ethic apply to the Muslims and furthermore what makes it so much more dangerous?
No one in modern times has done a better job of playing the victim of the first world than the Muslims and in particular Arab-Muslims. Despite their vast oil revenues, universities, and relatively modern major cities - their cries of abuse by the first world going back to the Crusades until today’s War in Iraq has placed Muslim extremism in a very favorable place given the naivete and “kindness” of the modern liberal. Thus our accommodation of the Muslim religious practices and Arab society within American society is seen by liberals not as encouraging an Abrahamic religion in the public square, but rather an exercise in multiculturalism. It is a particularly stark course of action because others in the third world are happy with remaining in their current location and merely ask not to be disturbed while the Muslims are using this liberal ethic to transplant their own society on top of the modern world.
Are we afraid of violence if we don’t comply with their wishes? I’m sure that’s some of it. But I would argue the attitude of multiculturalism as the liberals have wrongly applied it to the Muslims has caused the perfect storm we see today.
If you are Jackie Mason, welcome! I wish to congratulate the Jews, as a woman, for inventing monogamy. They figured out that poligamy ruined future generations. Jesus solidified this healthy philosophy.
Then, due to lust, Mohammed discarded this wisdom and made polygamy, marrying nieces and first cousins, the beating of wives, sex wih boys and female domesticated animals OK.
People need to think about the real fuel for Jihad. Saudi Arabia needs to dump a lot of young men when rich dudes can have 40 wives. The supply of martyrs/suicide bombers will not end until polygamy ends and 20 years have passed.
All the Western world owes a debt to Jews for making marriage to one woman a sacred thing.

With all due respect, sir, you're preaching to the choir here on Free Republic. Although, in my humble opinion, you're a lot more conciliatory about the nature of the "Religion of Peace" than many would be, and you give them much more credit than the May 2007 Pew Poll of American Muslims would justify. As I'm sure you know, according to that poll, 25% of male American Muslims between the age 18-29 believe that suicide bombing is justified in defense of Allah. And 50% of all American Muslims oppose American intervention in the Taliban regime.
I think if we, as a nation, continue in our collective mantra that "Islam is a religion of peace and the vast majority of Muslims are gentle, peace loving people" ...we do so at our own peril.
