Thanks for the update and beautiful video. This Marine will remain in my prayers. God bless his wife and family as they continue to care for Sam.
My prayers each night ask for the healing of Samuel Nichols and these prayers will continue. Thank you for the update and may the good Lord hold him and his dear wife AND his caretakers close in His healing arms.

FRiends, this will be a quick note due to rapidly changing circumstances. I'm involved with the Gathering of Eagles in DC and will have to get back to you soon with more detail; but, the news is good!
First, Sam is making movements and responding more to sounds, commands and the presence of loved ones. He is not out of the coma, but his periods of wakefulness show more activity each day. Your prayers are on target!
And yesterday, the Marine Corps suddenly completed all the arrangements for Sam and the family members currently with him — Sam's father, Sam's wife Erin and Erin's mother — to fly out today, Saturday, to a military rehab hospital in California. There, he will be only a couple of hours from his family, not all the way across the country.
This is the military, folks, so things could change, but assuming the plan will go forward, please keep the family in prayer for the journey — especially Sam, who appeared to be running a temperature Friday afternoon.
I'll get back to you as soon as I can with more.

Sam's doctors are very surprised at his progress; but we are claiming his total healing in the Name Above All Names, whose power is profound and whose mercy is endless.
We praise our loving Father God, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, the Three-in-One who lives and reigns with us forever!
