[history]
This morning only a couple of minutes before 5am, I was surfing around when I came upon Fox News. Bill O'Reilly was closing out his show with him reading off a few viewers emails and him giving a small response to each one. One of them defended FreeRepublic, saying that doing a search, Daily Kos had thousands of certain cuss words, and FR had none. O'Reilly's response to that was: "FreeRepublic Needs A Monitor. It Has None." (And then he moved on to another email)
"..Alan Novak, Wichita, KS: "Comparing the Free Republic to the Daily Kos, I searched the F-word. Daily Kos, almost seven thousand mentions. Free Republic, none.""

Basically, the implication is that you haven’t been here long enough to know you butt from a hole in the ground WRTo FR. (I’m not saying that, it’s just that’s what the implication is.) Just stick around, keep your head down, and keep moving through the gauntlet, you’ll be alright. :)

Replace this [ with a < in front of each [font, and post as the reply. Then, copy to a word document and change the font to regular type. Lots of extra work, but it does work.

"Dan Rather should buy you a drink. Bill O'Reilly"s tiff with FR can probably be traced back to the FR's role in exposing Dan Rather's "Kinko" documents.
Dan Rather is a friend of O'Reilly's, and we must remember that journalists, some of the lowest scum on Earth, stick together and are thicker than thieves.

Telling the truth needs to be monitored in O's mindset. His fame has gone to his head and FR has a tendency to get the jump on subjects BO would love to break with on his show.
I reckon people who express bitterness at times for the constant BS we all endure are considered hateful in BO's world; like he's the only one allowed to express disgust nowadays. BO has read too much criticism about him on FR and his whittle feelwings are hurt.

Unfortunately, he didnt give Kristinn a chance to explain.
His ego is a bit too big for him to listen to explanations.

This comment that BOR is an authoritarian is bingo, right on.
Occasionally, he strays into opinion that makes sense. But if you review his comments over time in regard to free speech, free press and individual freedoms, you’ll see that he consistantly is in favor of more government crackdowns.

BOR: Among the 10% that never gets the word and, worse, is too lazy to find out
for himself so he makes up outrages as a gimmick to draw in viewers.
Let me come clean and confess all. A couple of years ago I did post some remarks that could be viewed as insulting to race-hustlers like Jackson and Sharpton because I thought they were bad for race relations and for the country in general.
I admit now that I was wrong. It is too easy for some unscrupulous person of deficient character, such as Markos Moulitsas or Bill OReilly, to spin the meaning of my words to embrace all blacks. That would be like saying that just because I dislike (or if you prefer hate or loathe) Bill OReillys puerile attention ploys, then I must hate all Irishmen. Thats nonsense.
Some of the best columnists writing today are black: Sowell, Perkins, Elder, Williams, McWhorter, Blackwell and Cain, and thats no jive. You can find them on Townhall.com. Every single one of them has more wisdom and more integrity than Bill OReilly.
