That's bad news for journalism and bad news for the country. Bad news for journalism because it further undermines the credibility of an already-distrusted media. When one newspaper openly shows its bias, all other newspapers are suspected of having their own bias.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Is he referring to:
The New York Times?
The Washington Post?
The Los Angeles Times?
The Boston Globe?
The Atlanta Journal-COnsitution?
etc.
Bill Press is well uh........Bill Press : )
Nothing is "suspected". The bias is offensively glaring and obscene.
Bill Press is so left-biased it makes him utterly stooopid.
Even if Murdoch were going to drag the WSJ into some far-right hellhole (he’s not, of course) that would only be to the benefit of all of leftist MSM daily papers that should be able to clean up on market share. If Press were capable of intelligent thought (he’s not) he would realize that his account of the WSJ’s future under Murdoch would be a great opportunity for the NY Times and WaPo. Instead, Murdoch is going to take the limp leftist rag called the NY Times to the woodshed and administer a thrashing that will leave them gasping for breath, desperate for market share, and wondering why everyone laughs at the phrase “newspaper of record.” It’s amazing that Bill Press could believe his own drivel even long enough to publish such an asinine column.

“For those who follow the news, that means there will be one less place you can look for good, strong, objective reporting and one less newspaper that publishes the truth.”
The “truth”. What a concept.
English is rather a poor vehicle for presenting the “truth”, I believe. It lends itself much more easily to propaganda.
It’s ironic that someone with such an obvious agenda would have the cojones to mention “truth”.
Sorry to post twice, but I missed this gem the first time:
“Recognizing the power of the media to shape public opinion, conservatives went out and bought newspapers, radio stations and TV stations and turned them into conservative mouthpieces while liberals sat on the sidelines, shedding crocodile tears. No wonder there’s such imbalance in the media today: Liberals refuse to put their money where their mouth is.”
Yeah, with 9 out of 10 journalists supporting Dem candidates, one can see there’s a tremendous right-wing bias in media. lol
I always have to ask. Are these people just plain ignorant or do they know the truth and insist on lying to us because it suits their political agenda?
One wonders what the color of the sky in bill press’s world is...a few weeks ago I happen to catch him on a cable show saying that if he had the same access to radio like Rush Limbaugh..he would pound Limbaugh into the earth..tear him up in the ratings 24 hrs..I laughed so hard..he can always dream..
Even FNC Neil Cavuto now has a lunatic left wing bimbo woman for “balance”. FNC is most assuridly NOT conservative. In fact the less conservative its reporting the less I spend time watching. Heck the Fox and Friends morning show has been off the automatic morning viewer for almost a year now because of the feminist manure the push.
I saw it sunday morning while surfing just in time to see some IDIOT say home owners should NOT buy a gun for self protection. Click, FNC can keep the sunday morning fox and friends with the girly men.
