I received an e-mail today from the Fox News producer who booked me for the O'Reilly Factor last night. The links have been forwarded to Jim Robinson for review.
Jim asked me to start a thread with the links so that Freepers, and everyone else, could see for themselves what the fuss is about.
The Hillary Clinton stray bullet assassination comment was a very bad joke comment that someone posted two days ago. It was flagged last night after the O'Reilly Factor broadcast and was removed by a moderator. It is available for the time being in Google cache:
To: Virginia Ridgerunner I like my scenario better:
After eight years of the economy faltering, interest rates are 19%, 900,000 people are dead in Iraq since we left, taxes have gone up by 60% and Chile, Bolivia and Columbia are now Communist regimes, a stray bullet at a NARAL rally catches President Clinton and kills her.
As they take away Cindy Sheehan she screams why did she have to remove the troops? We were winning.
The next day the dow goes up 2000 points and closes at 2150.

Don't even bother trying to defend that one. Assassination jokes have no place on Free Republic. Yes, Cindy Sheehan has written of her fantasizies about killing President Bush--and she's not joking, but that's her problem. We're better than that.
The "homosexuals are dogs" comment is taken out of context. The actual quote is "Homosexuals are the modern day dogs in the manger." That was in reference to an article about proprieters in the U.K. not being allowed to deny hotel accomodations to homosexual couples on account of religious belief.
The American Heritage online dictionary gives this description for the phrase: dog in the manger, NOUN: Inflected forms: pl. dogs in the manger. One who prevents others from enjoying what one has no use for oneself. ETYMOLOGY: From a fable in which a dog prevented an ox from eating hay he did not want himself.
That comment was posted two days ago and has also been removed by the moderators. It is available for now in Google cache.
The "I hate blacks" comment was nowhere to be found in the other threads referenced.
The threads are about crime in the black community, gangsta culture and Jesse Jackson. Two of the threads are in the Smoky Backroom.

I blogged about it the other day: Hate is not a family value its a Democrat(ick) one. (link goes to my blog, not DU)
It's not justified at either site. But it is NOT exclusively FR or conservative.
I believe that silent knight has been banned.
Living up to O’Reilly’s childish “centrist” standards is indeed a losing game. But letting someone—ANYONE—lie about us on national TV is a losing game as well.
I’ve only hit abuse once and that was last year or the year before when someone came in and started posting obscene photos on every thread. It was pretty early in the morning and the mods weren’t up yet.
I do have a thing about vulgar language and have asked to have posts pulled a few times because of it. Ironically, I did it yesterday on the first O’Reilly thread. ;)
I don’t think I’m anal about it, although I’m sure the freepers whose posts I’ve had pulled think I am.
Making the decision to request a post be pulled is not easy.
I was just reading a thread on sharia etiquette toward non-Muslims and Jews. I am fervently opposed to Islam and the advancement of it, but there were some posts in that thread that were borderline unacceptable to me. Posts like “kill muzzies/mooselims” (not in that thread, but I’ve seen them in the past) are not helpful at all to what I consider a very important discussion and they make the poster sound ignorant.
There is a line that shouldn’t be crossed, but there are those who don’t recognize it or don’t care. My general rule is if it’s something I wouldn’t sign my name to, then I probably shouldn’t post it.
Almost everyone, including me, blows it occasionally. So it’s important to remember that you can request to have your own post removed, if on a second read, it doesn’t sound so great.
Yeah, I read your link yesterday. I was refering to Kristinn comment that Fox News didn’t give him a link. I’m wondering, if any FReepers are Bill O’Reilly website premium members. What’s been posted on his website? Nothing offensive? It’s just pathetic, that these comments were all O’Reilly could come up with.
Maybe tomorrow night, he got pre-empted by the bridge collapse.
lol...I wouldn’t want to start any unsubstantiated rumors, gossip or any lies..
Like O’Reilly....
His account still looks active.
“OReillys greatest nightmare is Rush Limbaugh returning to television.”
LOL!!
bingo! First IMUs, now us. Queen Hillary has to marginalize those who would speak ill of her. Politics 101.
Hmmm, must have been some other troll that got Zotted.
It is. Maybe the mod just asked him/her to take a break.
Let's see if Bill O is on in 15 minutes in his regular 11:00 replay slot.
But that is what Bill O'Reilly does all the time. His show depends on controversy. If you notice though, Bill will never admit when he is wrong. He will only slowly moderate his opinion, like on the oil companies. We are basicly wasting our time. Those posts were mostly harmless. Although, the one about Hillary did go a little over the top. Most of those threads got little attention, so very little oversight.
I forgot about that. He may be.
Bill?
Who is this Bill?
Is this TV trickery?
*smile
By the way, he was going to have Dennis Miller on to comment on hate speech in the political arena.
