I taped a segment on the O'Reilly Factor for airing tonight to defend Free Republic against charges that it is a hate site. The segment will air in the 'D block' around 8:35 p.m. EDT and rerun at 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. EDT.
Rather than tell how it went, I'll leave it for folks to watch and decide for themselves. I hope I did right by FR.
We'll be having company tonight as some of Bill O'Reilly's two million-plus viewers check out FR for themselves. So please bear that in mind as you comment tonight. The Daily Kos is waging a very nasty personal campaign of retribution against O'Reilly. No sense in us piling on. Let's use this as an opportunity to show people why FR is the best conservative site on the web.

IMHO, JR needs to lawyer up on this one.
I went to www.billoreilly.com and it kept cutting off . I finally got in and it was secured. You have to join to post of course .I started to join and ask him why he picked this site and one more out of all the sites .
I know why, because he is making his lib points now . He is in there with the rest of them who want to SHUT DOWN TALK RADIO AND EVERY OTHER KIND OF CONSERVATIVE SPEECH .!
O'Reilly owes the country well researched opine.
In BOR's mind it probably is. He has repeatedly stated through the years that he doesn't mind high taxes "as long as the money is spent efficiently."

ZIMBABWE’S official daily newspaper says British gay activist Peter Tatchell, who was beaten by security guards while trying to "arrest" President Robert Mugabe in Belgium, was lucky not to have been "shot like a dog". The Herald said Tatchell of the British gay rights group Outrage, who was knocked to the ground by the president's bodyguards in Belgium on Monday as he tried to make a citizen's arrest over Mugabe's human rights record, was a "gay gangster" whose behaviour represented the Western world's extreme contempt for African leaders.
Tatchell, who previously tried to "arrest" Mugabe in October 1999 during a private visit to London, yelled "Arrest Mugabe, arrest the torturer" as the veteran African leader left the Hilton Hotel in Brussels.
The 77-year-old Mugabe, in power since the former Rhodesia gained independence from Britain in 1980, has denounced homosexuals as "worse than dogs and pigs".

And it was back in 2001 and no FR person said it. It was as you said quoted in an article and used by Mugabe.
Could be other threads that quoted Mugabe with this quote also.
O'Reilly is obviously bothered by FR because people here don't coddle him and call him out on his mistakes haughtiness
If someone googled the site for “I hate blacks” they could find it numerous times just on this thread - from all of us saying we’d never seen a comment like that here. If BO’R would check things in context once in awhile, it might be nice. That said, I’ve seen some nasty stuff thrown by the moderator in chief back around the time of the purge.
It’s also called dishonest. BOR can KMA.
What is sad is the number of people who take what he says as the truth. His ‘no spin’ is nothing but BS!
O’Reilly doesn’t like us because not everyone here is a BORbot.
WE MUST WAIT TO SEE WHAT BOR HELD UP IN HIS HAND AND CLAIMED STUFF ABOUT FREEREPUBLIC. LET’S NOT GO OFF ON THIS BEFORE WE KNOW ALL ABOUT what BOR was waving during the show. KRISTANN says he wil get a copy in the morning.
