Detrit IS a disaster. The city may have a beautiful skyline but its a rotten shell. People want to get out when they can and every year Detroit is losing population. Kiss Mo'town good-bye.

You can buy several houses in the city for the price of a VW Phaeton but no one in their right mind would live there. For the love of God, if you need to live in the area, do yourself a favor and immigrate to Canada and settle in Windsor. It has everything Detroit will never have in this lifetime.

I wish they’d take some of those old rides from Coney Island and put them at the west end of Long Beach. But I’m a gooey nostalgia freak.

I’ll also note that those “local Russians” are mostly mobbed up, right? Your basic Brighton Beach goombah-ski, in velour or vinyl “athletic suit” with gold chains knotted in the chest hair and a bluetooth jammed in one ear.
