Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Saturday the United States and Israel are his country's main enemies.
In a televised speech, Khamenei said hatred toward the U.S. is growing around the world. His remarks come just three days after the United States rejected an Iranian suggestion to hold higher-level talks on the security situation in Iraq.
Iran suggested the talks as U.S. and Iranian ambassadors to Iraq met in Baghdad to discuss Iraq's security.
The U.S. has accused Iran of supplying weapons and training to Shi'ite militias in Iraq. Iran denies the charge.
Khamenei's comments came as he marked the birthday of Imam Ali, the first Imam of Shia Muslims.
The United States and Iran have had little official contact for 27 years.
Washington broke off diplomatic relations in April 1980 several months after Iranian activists seized the U.S. embassy in Tehran and took its staff hostage.
Hopefully, the Israelis will ultimately nuke the Iranians.

The Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is one of Iran’s main enemies. Why doesn’t a smart Iranian put a bullet through his head? It can’t be that hard.
If the Iranian people do not soon rid their nation of the demons leading them, the people will be annihilated with the demons. Read the history of Iran in the past two hundred years. They are not a sane people.

If they really were our greatest ally, they would clean out their nutcase leadership in short order. I’m willing to give them all the credit in the world, but they have to demonstrate some moral fiber and initiative first.
My analyzes is that the Shia had nothing to do with anything. It was all Sunni Wahabbi. We have come lately to admit that and its too late. Our war was never ever with the Shia, Now we have the Sunni moderates withdrawing completely from the Iraq government we had set up because we met with the Shia. We are hopelessly lost in what to do in Iraq.
