Riyadh, 27 July (AKI) - Many Saudi imams have discovered that the direction of Mecca indicated to the faithful in their mosques is off-course.
Thanks to the images provided by Google Earth, some Saudi scientists have been able to monitor the main mosques in the kingdom, discovering that many of them have the qibla (the niche in the wall indicating the direction of Mecca) placed incorrectly.
According to Saudi researcher Abelaziz al-Ghamidi, quoted by the daily 'al-Watan', in the area of al-Baha alone 15 mosques have been identified where the qibla does not correspond correctly to the direction of Mecca, the most holy site in Islam.
Heads will roll...literally...
There’s just not one thing the Arabs consistently get right.
Like you know, for goodness sake.
Well the Muslim’s God is a rock and rocks are notorious for their inferiority complexes. They demand that you be looking at them or at least in their direction when praying.
Other wise they feel you don’t respect them. (hey its a rock after all)
The Dome on the Rock in Jerusalem does not face Mecca either.
It was built before the Koran was written
and the myth of Mohammed was invented.
It is not possible to visit Mecca because of the controls of the Religious Police. These policemen watch that you observe the Sharia and all other Muslim rules, otherwise they can punish you or expel you from Arabia.
They ask for Muslim documents to visit these places.
I wonder what would happen if a pig farmer or a pork processor was located between the mosque and mecca. Would they be praying to a hog?.

Oh my, they’ve got themselves in a quandary here. How to explain to the faithful that the mosque must be re-positioned according to directions provided by evil capitalist infidels? And if this is the only way to get the mosque pointed the right way, could they possibly have been mistaken about the need to exterminate infidels and western capitalism?”

If they’re so tight with Allah why couldn’t they have figured this out a long time ago?
Back to the old drawing board.
