Why should Republicans do anything with CNN? It should be Fox News.

Neither were situations TODAY so telling me how life is today doesnt mean a hill of beans. It is called reality. We can speculate all we want on what might happen, but the only thing that matters is what the situation is today vis a vis the draft and amnesty.
Im the one perplexed as to why people are telling me how it is when the thread is about people on a stage telling us how it will be. I had a question they should be made to address.
The people on the stage are panderers and liars. They are politicians telling people what they want to hear. Whether they can translate that into reality is an entirely different question. In most cases, they can't. There is no way that we will be out of Iraq prior to November 2008. Politics aside, it is virtually logistically impossible.
If we need to have a military that reflects America, then the draft should be inclusive of our proposed new citizens (who would be legal residents).
Almost no Dem Presidential candidate supports bringing back the draft. When Charlie Rangel put it before the House for a vote, it was defeated roundly. By a 402-2 vote, the House shot down HR 163, otherwise known as the Universal National Service Act of 2003. And even Rangel voted against it!!!! That's reality. And amnesty was also voted down in 2006 and 2007. So why waste energy debating how many angels can fit on the head of a pin?

Not everything is bad. Have you ever seen “Black and Right”? It’s great! Or how about the tributes to the military? My friends showed me the fantastic guy who won the British version of American Idol. He did an aria, “Bessema Douma”, that I know you would recognize as the song that has become Pavrotti’s theme. And the young girl that he beat who did an amazing rendition of “Over The Rainbow”. So not all is horrid. But I don’t think they should do it with CNN.

Re your tag: Dems hate Bush as much as they love terrorists. I must respectfully disagree. They love the terrorist far more than they hate Bush.

Thanks for the fyi. I guess you are right. They should fight them wherever they raise their ugly heads. I say start on Capitol Hill. And now would be really good, since they are several laps behind. It is an uphill fight since so many people, even on the right, have been affected by the Bush-is-bad fever. Sure wish more people could think or would think critically. *sigh

It was covered this morning in Nashville. He is driving the media nuts on purpose. Trying to make candidates or media attack him before he is a candidate. it’s quite funny

I do not think the youtube thingy is a good idea. Regardless of how many good questions will be submitted, CNN is picking the questions. They are sure to pick ones that show Republicans in a bad light, although nothing can be as bad as tonight can it?

I guess Im the only one still watching.
On the matter of gay marriage, none of them get it.
The Govt has already declared they have no place in religion. So why are they fiddling with marriage?
Reagan had to fiddle with no fault marrige.
Its not the Govts business
Get out of the church!
The Gov declares a seperation of church and state then gets all in the churches business
