The Nile is a River that runs through FR. All the Border Guards pretend the crops will just plant and harvest themselves.

Pray for W and Our Troops

Paying illegals 3.85/hour is pretty much planting and harvesting the crops themselves.

You should be a slavery advocate. At least you'd be honest with yourself and other FReepers.

I live 20 miles north from the largest and busiest border crossing in the world here in San Diego.

The illegals are costing San Diego tax payers tens of millions of dollars a year.

Using our health system, and everything else we have to pay for.

Our prisons here are overcrouded with them with their
Murders, drug, robbery, rape, etc. costing us multi millions a year.

I watched in person here over 50,000 marching with their Chea T shirts, F Bush, Go back to Europe this is our country and worse.

You are in denial and insult Americans who do farm labor and hard work.

"Border guards"? What border guards? It sounds like you are one of those on welfare or after Hurricane Katrina who can't take care of himself/herself. You also must not believe in American innovation whatsoever.

Not true. Hopefully, farm communities will adopt the program (as some are) of paying nonviolent prisoners to plant and harvest the crops. The program kills two birds with one stone -- the prisoners appreciate the money they're being paid -- some of them having never worked a full day in their lives -- and the farmers have CHEAP labor. Here's hoping it catches on across the nation.

All the criminal-coddlers think only hispanics can grow food.

How did we manage to feed ourselves, export countless tons of grain and produce to needy nations *and* pay farmers NOT to produce crops back in the days before there were 20+ Million illegals here to do all the work?
