They really need a chart on who is Mr. Big, who is No. 2, etc. instead of every day “top” man in Iraq was killed, captured, slipped on a banana peal etc.

I’ll wager this coward will be in the fetal position after a couple of days of lights out at Club Gitmo.

Good news for America and Iraq...bad news for the Democrats. How does one remain a member of a party where good news for the safety of your country and its allies is bad news for you?

Most excellent news. Why this is not in the breaking news section? Please ask the moderator to put there, it is well deserved.

Yet another failure in the Iraq war. We'd better pull out now, right Harry?

OK already, which number one operative is this anyway.
Just wrap him up and send him to the Alutians. They don’t care for Gitmo, maybe they’d like the arctic better.

1)”Bergner said al-Mashhadani served as an intermediary between al-Masri and Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri.”

2)”In fact, communication between the senior al-Qaida leadership and al-Masri frequently went through al-Mashhadani,” Bergner said.”

3)”He said al-Mashhadani was a leader of the militant Ansar al-Sunnah group before joining al-Qaida in Iraq 2 1/2 years ago.”

OK Media, RINOs and Rats, let’s get a few things straight, Al-Qaeda in Iraq has had direct communications with Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan/Pakistan. Now as for the name Al-Qaeda, you can pretend he wasn’t “Al-Qaeda” before 2 1/2 years ago but whether he used the name or not he was and is Al-Qaeda and was in Iraq before we got there.

*whiny voice*

“George Bush clearly timed this capture to draw attention away from the noble efforts of good, democratic senators who are trying to bring an end to this illegal and unjust war. The fact that George Bush could order the capture of this man at any politically expedient time just goes to show that he could do the same thing with Osama bin Laden, but chooses not to because he knows Osama is INNOCENT! Clearly, George Bush and his big oil buddies were behind 9-11.”

There - did I hit all of the demonrat talking points on this one...?

Great news but I thought al-Masri (sp) was the biggest bigwig in Iraq. I need a new program. The understudies are now being replaced.

I expect it was the communication part that got his butt captured.
