Teddy Kennedy has still not been prosecuted for vehicular manslaughter, felony DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Teddy didn't get what he deserved but he entered a plea of guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident after causing injury. He received a sentence of two months in jail, which was suspended.

Oh goodie. No double jeopardy for killing Mary Jo Kopechne. It wasn't injury. He ditched the car in the water and deliberately left her to drown. The slob went back to the hotel to sleep off his drunken stupor, then reported the "accident" 10 hours later.

We can thank her, though, for the fact that his actions meant he would NEVER be President.
