At the scene, police arrested Jeffrey Vanvels, 45, who is being held on open murder charges pending further developments.

Why?

My daughter is a police officer, and domestic violence calls are the worst.

Prayers for him and his family. No matter what grievance the shooter had with the world did he have to kill a man who was just doing his duty and trying to support his family?

Its more terrible because it is so senseless.

Survived by a three year old daughter and his parents. That is so awful.
