More national freedom eroding.

Overarching, unaccountable EU superstate law.

What these people find out is that their national laws mean nothing. They are essentially arbitrary, or can only exist within an EU-defined range of options.

Not saying federalism is a great thing in America (I would love a muhc smaller, constitutionally-based federal government).

Unfortunately we are going to be seeing much and much more of this as time goes on.

That’s stupid. The rich people who can afford to travel will just come to the US instead. Duh.

“That’s stupid. The rich people who can afford to travel will just come to the US instead. Duh.”

- Europeans in general (altough not the Swiss and the Scandinavians obviously) are poorer than US Americans.

However, many of us Europeans have enough money to finance a trip to the US.

The Euro is kinda strong, haven’t you heard?

“Yeah, I know about the Euro being strong”.

- You do?

Next question:

- What you’re gonna do about it?

Important:

Please note I’m saying this in a tongue in cheek manner. I view you Americans like our brothers and sisters.

Close relatives often quarrel.

Greetings from Europe!

“It helps our exports :)”

- That’s correct.

It looks like the strong Euro is no problem to anyone.

Economic growth is finally reaching decent levels in the ‘Euro zone’, therefore the strength of the Euro is hardly a problem to the European economy.

Like you said above, the US export industry profits from the present currency exchange rates and the US economy still looks very strong, therefore it’s no problem to the US neither.

I’d say the world economy at large is in a very healthy state today. Americans and Europeans are richer than ever, Asia is making a lot of progress and even in Africa economic growth is strong.

The basic explanation to this progress:

Capitalism.

Greetings from Europe!

Well, it’s a problem when I’m in Europe spending dollars. But c’est la vie.
