But I do not understand his vote for cloture on Tuesday...

Would be interesting where in the pack did he vote and did he vote because of the way the wind was blowing

I'm very disappointed (mild term) in Coleman

That’s because we’re so used to seeing Republicans be duped by Democrat tactics.

In this case, however, the GOP outsmarted the Dems.

Apparently, there was an article in the Red Star that said that Bush personally lobbied Coleman very hard and promised to get Coleman’s sacntuary cities amendment put on Reid’s approved list. I’m alarmed if that’s all it took for Coleman to vote Yes on Tuesday.

I’m not entirely comfortable with Coleman these days. He has really achieved the status of “insider” these days. There are times when that’s beneficial but there are also times when he shouldn’t be so quick to negotiate and sell away his positions just so he can get an amendment considered.

Like I said, he’s won only a temporary reprieve from me. I will be watching what he does.
