If this bill had passed, they would have been there permanently-including criminals. We would have to provide all sorts of benefits to them. Also, states are getting sick of the cost of illegals and are acting against illegal immigration. In my opinion, this is why the elitists tried to ram this bill down our throats. Some states (including Georgia) are trying to cut down on illegals on their own. The Feds tried to make everyone legal...protecting their slave labor.

By killing the bill they keep their slave labor at a much lower cost then if they had been made legal..and a lot more of them as well.
