What you don’t seem to understand is that as of today nothing has changed...at all.
We understand that exactly. Nothing is a bazillion times better than granting them amnesty.
What you don’t seem to understand is that this is a great victory because not all change is a good thing. The changes this bill would have brought= disaster for this country.
Nothing changing is a hell of a lot better than what was in this bill. It was a comprehensive mess of back room Reid and Kennedy written garbage. Yes, we need to do something but this bill wasn't it. The American people want border security first- it has already been passed (Oct 2006) just not implemented.
AND the bill would have allowed those 20 million to bring in to the U.S.A. their family members ( chain migration) till 2016. And that would have been legal for them to bring in all these illiterate 3rd world people. Then all of these hundreds of millions of foreigners would have the vote too. Then they would control the country. We wouldn’t have had a chance then because Democrats would have had all these hundreds of millions or tens of millions of new pro illegal voters. So then the borders would be thrown wide open to the 4 billion poor of the 3rd world. This is what that bill would have done. So it had to be killed.
Liberals,Democrats and Bush want to turn the U.S.A into a socialist Venezuela or a 3rd world country with the passage of this Amnesty bill:

It still gives amnesty and the vote to 200 milion, illiterate 3rd world people.
