I understand your position...

But I do not understand his vote for cloture on Tuesday...

Would be interesting where in the pack did he vote and did he vote because of the way the wind was blowing

I'm very disappointed (mild term) in Coleman

Dear Senator Boxer,

Since S.1639 has been defeated, will the fence, vehicle barriers, and camera towers, previously approved, continue to be built??

As I understand it, only 2 miles, out of the 370 miles of fence previously appproved, have been built so far. If my memory is correct, 200 miles of vehicle barriers, and 70 camera towers, have also been previously approved.

Perhaps the administration, and the Senate, should heed the desires of the American people, and put these things on the front burner, and make sure they get funded, and built.

Could you please inform me as to the status of the above, and what the construction schedule might be.

Sincerely,
Your Constituent

My Georgian Senators- Chambliss helped with the secret writing of the bill- but both voted NO despite pressure from business. Pilgrim Pride - I think it’s called- was running ads trying to pressure them into voting for this bill. Georgians called this company and organized a boycott of their product...I haven’t heard those commercials lately.

She said the flowers might not get through to his office...
They might not deliver them..security etc...
Someone in AL might be able to arrange somethimng there...

Oh dear...that's not good. Sounds like any would have to be sent to a home office, then? So we'll need to get a schedule now, correct? I'm still not able to get through...you're having pretty good luck!

PING to the others.

He know what it would have brought, that’s why he’s disappointed, he wanted all the extra millions the bill would have allowed.

I got through to DC office. The lady is discouraging sending flowers to DC. She said many times they do not make it due to security. His home office is

The Honorable Jeff Sessions
7550 Halcyon Summit Drive
Montgomery, Alabama 36117

PH: 334-244-7017

I got a voice mail on that number. Don’t know if he will be stopping in there over recess or not.

I remember his speech about Clinton and Monica. At first he came out against Clinton and then( if I remember correctly) turned in the same speech for him. He was masterful in his command of the English language and skill as a politician.

That’s because we’re so used to seeing Republicans be duped by Democrat tactics.

In this case, however, the GOP outsmarted the Dems.

Sessions would be THE choice for Guilianni. Sessions is Southern and conservative. What Guilianni absolutely needs. Somebody in the Guilianni camp should hear that.

As another poster has stated. Today a lot of early yeas turned to nays after the nays hit 40; likewise, the smarter ones just sat back and voted in the end when it didn’t matter. You’ll have to check you tube to determine the exact order they voted in and to catch the switched votes.

Also, states are getting sick of the cost of illegals and are acting against illegal immigration. In my opinion, this is why the elitists tried to ram this bill down our throats.

Yup!

Hey I’m not happy with guys sitting on the fence to the last minute either. The fact is though that he will be in office for a few more years, and a “thank you” now may pay dividends in the future. Didn’t say anyone had to campaign for reelection ;)

I wouldn’t be surprised. They are lawbreaker after all. Send in the police or the Army if you must-we will not allow riots in our streets by people who are here illegally and are not citizens.

Please define disaster? Illegals in our mists? The numbers will now continue to rise..not fall and their wages are not going up anytime soon.
