Here we are again my friends, hopefully for the last debate thread on this particular monstrous legislation. Proceedings are supposed to begin at 9:30 a.m. EST, with the cloture vote being taken at 10:30 a.m.
On a personal note, you've all been wonderful in your passion, vigilance, and commitment to the principles on which our country was founded. If I have to be in a foxhole, I want to be in it with you guys.

Thanks. I cannot take the extreme abuse of the president on these threads. Goodness knows I’m mad at him over this— but civility and reason has been ignored too much here by too many.Same here Fudd Fan...I've essentially gone into lurk mode until this immigration matter is over...one way or another.
It's disheartening to read the hate toward President Bush and the new policy of the admin mods to sit back and allow it.
