Got my $75 back from the RNC
Posted on 06/27/2007 6:45:25 PM PDT by WBL 1952
Called the RNC today and told them I wanted the last two years of contributions back. They said they would send the money I sent them just for the last 12 months - $75.
The first jerk hung up on me when I insisted I wanted at least two years $$ back so I had to call back.
I don't know if they are getting the message or not.

Not that he'd do that, but some koolaid drinkers here would lap it up if he did. What does he have to do to lose some peoples support?

Glenn Beck made an excellant suggestion on talk radio today. The RNC sends out request for donations which include a “returned adressed” envelope which states that the postage will be paid by the RNC. Take a brick and wrap it up. Tape the RNC’s return envelope to the front of the package and mail it. The RNC will be obligated to pay the postage. It is my understanding that each brick mailed back “first class” will cost them approximately $200.00. Might be worth thinking about.

Captain Obvious has been kickin a$$ around here for quite awhile. He seems kind of ruthless though when it comes to sidekicks. :)

Yes I read that comparison of immigration rules at the RNC.
You are assuming that congress will do everything they say......just like we believed in 1986.
I explained to them why I wanted my money back, that it was the immigration reform bill, and lott, graham, spector, and a few others have ticked too many Republicans off for the last time.

They only understand money, votes, power and getting reelected. They are running this country into the ground.
Outside of civil war, refusing to pay taxes etc, we are left with little choice but to hit them where it hurts.
This is an excellent vehicle to that end.

Anymore, postage is more a function of package size and distance than weight.

Check this out - I have corrected Chena's post:

I had just posted yesterday about receiving four RNC solicitation letters in the past four weeks......and how I scrawled my slings and arrows boldly across the forms with a black felt pen and mailed them back on their dime....when......
.......lo and behold, my phone rang just before dinner tonight. A young man from the RNC was giving me the full court press verbally on how my donation will help keep the Dems from big victories next election, blah, blah.
That's when I let him have it, politely, but forcefully....I knew he was a fine volunteer. I told him how the President and the Party had left ME, not the other way around, blah, blah.
To make a long story short, we got to talking and in response to my questions, he stated he's getting ditto on most of his other calls, with plenty of blue language burning his ears. He really warmed up, told me he's having little or no success in getting pledges....and the conversation ended with him agreeing with everything I was saying and even going beyond what I was saying.
Looks like a revolution of some GOP volunteers right within the belly of the RNC beast!

I don’t want to COST them money that would partially go to conservatives. That would be counterproductive. I just want my money going to conservatives of my choice only.

The money will still go to Republicans - CONSERVATIVE ONES. The others are USELESS to us anyway! How many posts do you see that say, let's send money to DeMint or somebody like him vs. how many posts do you see that say no more money for the RNC?
