As I recall, you are absolutely right. Without SS reform, this country needs people to pay into a system where they will get nothing in return as well as educated high tech immigrants from places like India to fill jobs that the American education system is not preparing are youth to fill. Meanwhile, birthrates are so low we will not have a population base high enough to support the system.
Unfortunately, Freepers are hurling rocks at the wrong people.
Then why do you still keep replying to me if I am not worth the time.
So it seems that Senators and Reps abadoned GWB a long before the immigration debate got started in the Senate.
Spoken like a true Bushbot. Looks like Shameless Hero Worship Syndrome has affected you and your ilk.
Pulled out the old tried but true Bushbot namecalling. Proved that you lost the debate.

Okay...how’s this? Your reaction proves that you are a shameless and dumb automaton for supporting Jorge even when he is in the wrong.
Pray for J and his bots.
Except for this video which shows HR people talking about how to hire foreigners over Americans for high tech jobs.
You make my case far better than I could. Your namecalling does nothing for your side other than demonstrate your thuggish behavior.
Where you going to find hard working laborers after you deport 10 million Mexicans??
Pray for W and Our Troops
Forgive me; I'm Jewish and not Christian; but is President Bush turning AMERICA'S other cheek???
Does he not support the Constitution, which pre-assumes an actual NATION worth defending and keeping??
I prefer accuracy over feel good PC terminology.
“...Your namecalling does nothing for your side other than demonstrate your thuggish behavior.”
Are you on the wrong thread? The namecalling and abuse you love to protest is the only thing that goes on the daily Bush threads. People who live in glasshouses...and you know the rest.
“Where you going to find hard working laborers after you deport 10 million Mexicans??”
Wow...you must employ quite a few of them if that is your only talking point.
“Where you going to find hard working laborers after you deport 10 million Mexicans??”
Current US population: 300,000,000
Current US unemployment rate: 4.6%
300,000,000 x 4.6% = 13,800,000
Let’s start there...doing something for actual Americans.
4.6% is full employment. It represents only those between jobs or won’t work. Nice try though

I find it rather refreshing in that it proves that FR is not just another Bush Fan Club.
It’s not only Mexicans that are here illegally, but I shouldn’t have to point that out to you, should I?
Illegal immigrants (of any nation of origin) are not all ‘hard-working’, either — to say that completely ignores the reality. MANY are criminals above and beyond simply breaking mere immigration laws (see the U.S. prison statistics, and remember the terrorists that have overstayed their visas, etc...).
As far as unemployment — how many of those between jobs have trouble finding jobs due to the illegal immigrant workforce (where are all the LEGAL U.S. Citizens who used to work in the food processing/agriculture industry — out of work, or in another industry due to the fact that they can hire illegals for much cheaper)?
How about those whose wages have fallen due to the ‘competition’ with illegal aliens (see Construction & Manufacturing — the most recent example being in NOLA).
Don’t forget how hard it is to find an non-bilingual entry job in some of these areas that cater to illegals (Sanctuary cities like Denver)?
These are things that people who claim these are all ‘hard-working’ people fail to address.
A lot of people on both sides of this issue are throwing out generalities, and it’s getting pretty ridiculous, IMHO. The fact that so many people are so upset by this whole bill and are at each other’s throats just points out why Congress, and our President is in error in attempting to push through this immigration reform bill.
Enforce the laws we have FIRST, and then if there are still problems we can address a guest worker program. I’m absolutely POSTITIVE there are MANY waiting in line to LEGALLY migrate here that we would have no problem filling these jobs — if there is really a need. (Peace loving people of all nationalities like those in Africa, or the middle east who don’t want to live in oppression for example) AND, you would not have to reward the criminal behavior of those who have chosen to break our laws in the first place. We should be REWARDING those who have followed the laws, and who wish to become part of the greatest nation in the world, but instead our politicians are fighting to reward those who have no respect for us.
The ones who are waiting patiently all over the world for YEARS just for a chance at the American dream are the ones I would like to see have an opportunity to become citizens, and help strengthen our country... NOT those who are expecting us to ignore our laws and pardon their criminality, and threatening to riot if we don’t (See McCain’s comments a few weeks ago on what would happen if we don’t pass this bill - i.e. riots in our streets).
Don’t even bother with Dane... Next thing you know he’ll be calling you a racist, or a bigot, or a Marxist... That seems to be his MO. Baiting people is a favorite pasttime of his it would seem. Several have freepmailed me about him, and I thought I would offer you the same ‘warning’. (o:
Ken, ani lo batuack ma hu osay. Ze meod muzar.
Ani lo hoshev ze mashu notzrie. Yoter cemo ezze zaken shee petom sentemenali meod.
His behavior is like a dotty old man who has become maudlin and over sentimental with age.
Arguing that we should ‘love’ people and that he is happy with immigrants are successful is way, way, totally off the point of illegal immigration and border security. It is not Christian per se, it is just freakin Pollyanna-ish sentimental nonsense. Exactly the kind of stuff we *expect* from Liberals and Democrats.
I liked Bush and voted for him twice. But his recent behavior on the issue has been just very bizarre.
Honestly, I’m kind of worried about him. He seems to be losing control of his mind.
Which is why I don't post that much anymore
