I’m not seeing Duke University as one of the victims in this case. They had three choices: defend their students, believe Nifong or neutrality. They chose to believe Nifong because they wanted him to be right in order to justify their twisted race/class/gender theories. They are as guilty as Nifong, not a victim.

Don't know about NC, but many states prohibit lawyers from hiring disbarred attorneys for their law offices.
It isnt just the African American community....the worst is the elitist white liberal establishment that Duke reeks of....what about the 80 Duke profs who refused to recant their support of Nifong early on?

The State of North Carolina should reimburse three defendants for their legal bills and be sued for civil rights violations. I would especially like to see the la cross coach sue Duke for wrongful termination and character defamation. Imagine how things would have been if the defendants were black and the accuser was white. This case is liberal Mccarthyism.

yes, glad he is disbarred but...he should be in jail because what he did was mean and intentional. He should serve SOME TIME in jail. He sure as hell wanted these young men to head that direction for something they DIDN’T do. Also, what about the accuser. Didn’t SHE start it all? Where is her punishment? Maybe her and Nifong should be put into the same cell ...that ought to be punishment enough for the both of them to have to look at the sight of each other every day.
