You made a mistake when you posted here. You, like "W" on this ILLEGAL'S subject, are not at all impressive.
A lot of folks here bled for your boss. Who do you think it was in Florida defending Bush? Who made sure that the Swift Boat gang got traction? Who was yelling at Al Gore? Who helped unmask Dan Rather's lies. The list goes on.
Free Republic is full of some of the finest minds in the country. If you are typical of the type of people the White House employs we are in big trouble. C'mon, impress us. See if you can respond intelligently to even a few posts.

There is no way you can give a visa amnesty, given the track record on enforcement, and not expect many more illegals to come across the border.

Allocating money that you have NO intention of spending to secure the border will NOT do the job. Come back and talk to us AFTER you have actually done it.

That would be an attempt to establish an anti-American dictatorship that ignores the will of over three quarters of the American people. Please don't add to the dishonesty by telling us that WE want and demand immigration "reform" when WE know that WE want enforcement of current laws.

You have no idea how much it means to us all, SOMEONE in a position of power and influence is at least paying some attention to what we have to say. Granted a LOT of if is meaningless and un-useful, but there are some ideas that have been posted up that are MORE than worthy of attention!
What should be crystal clear, is we are NOT in favor of this Bill in this form. It us patently unfair to those that immigrated here legally at great personal expense, and it is abhorrent to those of us who obey and follow the rules of our society.
Just make it illegal to deduct workers wages as a business expense if Names, ID’s and other identification do not match up with a given employee, and there goes the problem, right back across the border they came from because the jobs they hold will disappear. Believe me, there ARE Americans willing to do the work, they just are not going to do it for the artificially LOW wages the Illegals have created.
Do the RIGHT thing. CLOSE the borders. Make the Jobs disappear. Give us our COUNTRY BACK!!!!

It doesn’t make me feel any better to know that my president wants to give these criminals legal status, along with the fruits of my labor. If he wants to give them something, why doesn’t he give them something that’s his to give? Why does he have to give them what’s mine? I’m struggling enough already. This economy might be working out great for international investors, but it’s not so good for those of us who are trying to compete with illegal aliens who work for third-world wages. Our rail yards are full of empty trailers, because there isn’t enough product being moved. Those of you who invest in foreign markets can just shift your investments, but those of us who are dependent on the American (USA) economy are stuck with the scraps.
So your second post had more to do with defending your own name than the president’s policy? How do you think he would appreciate that? Your assignment was most probably to get the word out about how great this bill is supposed to be for Americans, and you’re more concerned about your own name than doing your assignment. That doesn’t generate a lot of confidence in either message.
If you can't pick the low-hanging fruit, you're going to come home with an empty basket. And that keys directly to the issue of illegal immigration. I have done 15 radio interviews in the last week, on both local and national shows. The interviews have been on Hazleton, Pa., Farmers Branch, Tex,. New Haven, Conn., and Portland, Ore., to name a few.
I guarantee that the people on those talk shows -- the hosts, their call-in guests, and their listeners -- are now in Howard Beale mode. You remember, from the movie "Network," when he sticks his face in the camera and says, "I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take this any more."
If your job in the White House is communication, then COMMUNICATE for Pete's sake. That means both directions. Read this thread, report back to Mr.Rove. Tell him the fury that is out there and growing.
We WILL defeat this amnesty bill. If we don't beat it in the Senate, we will beat it in the House. And every single minute that President Bush continues to support this ill-gotten legislative bastard child, is another minute of taking a bulldozer to the walls of the Republic, and of the Republican Party.
If you want to do your job correctly, then take that message to Mr. Rove. If not, then God help you, because Republicans won't.

President Bush is not the President of Mexico; why does he put the needs of the Mexican people ahead of the needs of the American people?
Who stands to gain from the amnesty bill being passed, certainly not the American people. When will our taxes will be going up to pay for amnesty? Why do I have speak Spanish in my own country?
Why hasn’t the President insisted on reciprocity with Mexico as a condition of getting the bill passed; why don’t US citizens have the same benefits in Mexico that Mexican citizens have in this country?
