Senate conservatives have been warned by Republican leaders that they must either accept a series of largely symbolic floor votes on a handful of amendments to the immigration reform legislation or see themselves shut out of the process altogether when the chamber resumes work on the bill later this year, GOP lawmakers and aides said Tuesday...

You keep trying to provoke an argument when there is none. Where in Hell did you get the idea that I think 1/4 to 1/2 of the current Mexican population voting in our elections is good? And you talk about me “Missing the Point?”
Here is the major point YOU miss. If your friend Hillary, or someone like her, is elected President the Mexican illegal aliens won’t need to be citizens to vote. Bill will drive the bus himself to get some to the polls and the ones he doesn’t drive he’ll lick their envelopes to seal their absentee ballots.
In your zeal to punish Bush (and remember Bush won’t be on the ballot in 2008) and the other Republicans supporting this current attempt at legalization, you will actually be working against your own self-interests. I’ll paraphrase what I’ve already said. If one candidate agrees with me 80% of the time and its opponent agrees only 10% of the time, I’m voting for the 80% candidate. It’s a no-brainer.
If America get’s hit with a terrorist attach again, it is our fault.
We did not close our borders after the first Reagan amnesty program. We did nothing but argue about small petty differences and allow this to esculate to where it is now.
The president wants us to repeat this again. Amnesty without first having a border (protection) in place.
Ron Paul is right, it is our fault that we have these things happen to us. It is time that we look at ourselves and evaluate our actions. As gross and obscene as terrorism is, it is American’s fault our borders are open.
For one last time having Hillary or someone like her would be even worse. Read this article and then check out the thread on FR. When you’re done work to inform and elect Senators and a Representative that will oppose this type of legislation. While you’re at it also work to elect a Conservative Republican that will also oppose making citizens (or voters) of illegal aliens. Several good candidates are running. Maybe one of them will make it.

"Minority Whip". LOL. Cheerleader Boy doesn't look or act as though he could ward off Silky Pony in a hair-pulling contest.
Everywhere you look, the libs are calling good bad and vice versa.
For a copy of the open letter, sent to Senator Graham last week: Lindsey Graham Letter.

The Administration in joining Teddy Kennedy's 40+ year assault on ethnic Americans has abdicated any claim on Conservative support. We need to reach out to those who have been asleep to what has been going on, and rally the rooted peoples of America against this betrayal of heritage.
For my response to the President's speech last year, where he claimed that he had the answer to the immigration problem: Answer To President On Immigration.

The President is the enemy. Waving around tax dollars to buy votes to sell this treason really pisses me off. Hope the House is up to it: they approve all funding. Cut off funding for the WOT I don’t care. We have to deal with the internal issues first it seems before we can credibly fight an external enemy. I do now so hate this President.
Remember the old typing skills exercise?
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.
In pursuing similar nonsensical notions, the President has set about trying to change culture, rather than simply hunting down existing enemies. In this he has given Al Qaeda the means to recruit a whole new generation of suicidal fanatics, who are now multiplying much faster than we can kill them.
Go help us if we do not wake up the intelligent community in America. We have only a little over 16 months, or the demographics, artificially created by those in the throes of the pseudo-science, referred to, sweep us into chaos. Rome lasted about a thousand years. The looney-tunes group makes it doubtful that we will get to 250 before falling into the abyss.
Keep fighting! Everything you value is at stake.
