GOP Ron Paul - Five Million Dollar Man? Thursday, June 07, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com
Congressman Ron Pauls donations have moved up - not by hundreds of thousands - but by millions as a result of his debate performances and groundswell of support on the Internet and in New Hampshire, observers close to the campaign say.
The move is especially impressive since as of March 31, 2007, he had perhaps $500,000 on hand (see candidate estimates below).
FMNN had previously reported after the GOP presidential debate in South Carolina - that candidate Ron Pauls (R-Tex) donations, large and small, had nearly doubled.

Now observers close to the campaign are revealing with some astonishment that donations to the campaign in recent weeks have pushed the total up to perhaps $4 or $5 million.
Thats a huge number at this stage, says one observer. That starts to put him in a position where he can compete state by state, anyway with the major candidates.
And this source added, Of course, its hard to tell because the numbers keep changing and thus nobody at the campaign has a firm count, at least not hour to hour. But the numbers are big. Its definitely over three, probably over four, and if it hasnt hit five yet, it will soon.
At this rate, say observers, Ron Paul could have something like $10 million in his coffers inside of several months, and the total could keep growing so long as he continues to hit on themes that Americans support how to return the country to a true, small government, constitutional republic and how to end the war in Iraq.
To be sure such amounts are somewhat speculative. But to put the amount of money Ron Paul is said to have raised recently in perspective, here are the figures of cash on hand for GOP candidates as of March 31, 2007:

Don’t like leaders, only loons ?
He did not.
Your logic is like saying I was robbed because the mugger hated my freedom, not because I had a Rolex on.
Pure denial of reality on the left wing, the Rudy wing, of the GOP.
he should be on the view where his blame america first feelings are accepted
Thanks for the flag.
Ever heard of blowback?
Events have consequences numskull, whether they are justified or not.
You prove my point on the Shah. Paul does not say that the Shah was worse than Mossadegh, but that the overthrow of Mossadegh caused the later revolution and hatred of foreigners.
Paul/Rosie 08!
??? Are they self-hating leftists?
That's because he is a conservative.
funny
Dictators also provide “leadership.”
I like Conservatives. I guess you like “leaders.”
I think he would leave viewers of ‘The View’ quite confused when he refused to ‘blame America first’ and the viewers changed channels. I predict sales of diazepam would go up that day.
yeah but he wouldnt as he proved in the debate
The Far Left wants us out of Iraq and into a humanitarian role for the global state.
Ron Paul wants to bring us home.
He had seconds in the debate. Give him minutes and things would change. Take a theory off a bumper sticker and people have a hard time understanding it.
Thank you for posting this article.
Didn’t blame America.
If you hadn’t ignored my comments, you would realize the fallacy that you’re making.
Your argument is like saying that I blamed the banker for wearing a watch for his mugging, when in reality I’m merely explaining the motivations for the criminal.
Ron Paul/Rosie O’Donnell ‘08
Michael Moore - Secretary of State
George Soros - Sec of Tres.
Charlie Sheen - Atty Gen.
Ward Churchill - Sec of Education.
Ron Paul shares the same war & 9/11 views and you name it with this Marxist lot.
