GOP Ron Paul - Five Million Dollar Man? Thursday, June 07, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com
Congressman Ron Pauls donations have moved up - not by hundreds of thousands - but by millions as a result of his debate performances and groundswell of support on the Internet and in New Hampshire, observers close to the campaign say.
The move is especially impressive since as of March 31, 2007, he had perhaps $500,000 on hand (see candidate estimates below).
FMNN had previously reported after the GOP presidential debate in South Carolina - that candidate Ron Pauls (R-Tex) donations, large and small, had nearly doubled.

Now observers close to the campaign are revealing with some astonishment that donations to the campaign in recent weeks have pushed the total up to perhaps $4 or $5 million.
Thats a huge number at this stage, says one observer. That starts to put him in a position where he can compete state by state, anyway with the major candidates.
And this source added, Of course, its hard to tell because the numbers keep changing and thus nobody at the campaign has a firm count, at least not hour to hour. But the numbers are big. Its definitely over three, probably over four, and if it hasnt hit five yet, it will soon.
At this rate, say observers, Ron Paul could have something like $10 million in his coffers inside of several months, and the total could keep growing so long as he continues to hit on themes that Americans support how to return the country to a true, small government, constitutional republic and how to end the war in Iraq.
To be sure such amounts are somewhat speculative. But to put the amount of money Ron Paul is said to have raised recently in perspective, here are the figures of cash on hand for GOP candidates as of March 31, 2007:

Its substantial. Just read the left wing wing blogs.
The lefties are coming through for him big time.
Now if he triples his support he might break the margin of error in a professional poll.

Ron Paul did not say “It was our fault”, as you allege.
But then, you already know that.
No; he identified the causes of their hatred
Just like infidelity could drive a husband to murder their wife. The wife isn’t to blame for here own murder of course. But you, Benito Giuliani, and the rest would say that even brining up the infidelity would be “blaming the victim” and that “he killed his wife because he hated her freedom.”
As long as Paul is on the stage, he makes the Conservative look good.
Then again, anyone looks good standing next to a traitorous piece of crap like Ron Paul.
Leftism preaches big government and a Wilsonian foreign policy.
Ron Paul opposes big government and Wilsonian foreign policy.
That makes big-gummint, democracy-spreadin’ dubya the Lefty.
Ya think he could be a spoiler to the Dems if he goes third party? (No way the GOP is going to nominate someone who just fundamentally does not grok the Islamist-terrorist connection.)
"I sent Dr. Demento all my money I usually spend on my french fried taters. It's a crazy time to live these here days, and we needs a crazy guy. It's about time America elected a President someone who's just like me. I'm Karl Childers, and I approve this message. Uh huh."
I don’t mind Paul other than the fact he is nearly indistinguishable from Michael Moore when it comes to defense of our nation.
Rosie has alot of money is that who gave to him?
That L Ron Book graphic will help him with more donations, from liberals.
Of course he did and anyone who heard the debates know it, that is why he is the gops rosie
Dr. Demento’s “Cause of hatred” = CIA installing the Shah of Iran, 1953. Yup. Uh huh. He blamed US, dude. Sorry, no dice. That was the best thing that ever happened to Iran. Dragged it kicking and screaming into the modern era. Now, if he were to blame Carter for f***ing up the good we did there, he’d be on to something. But let’s be honest, the real cause of blame:
Mohammad = 7th Century.
Dr. Demento needs to get with the program or go back to his cell next to Karl’s at the nervous hospital.
No Rudy McRomneySon, thank you very much.
Which is why the lefties are sending all these bucks to RuPaul - LOL.
Yep, there’s a reason that all of this money hasn’t helped his poll numbers among GOP voters. It’s because all of his donations came from the DUmmies and other assorted left wing nutjobs.
Looks like a Benito Goose-stepper to me.
Bull! Moore wants us out of Iraq so we can intervene in humanitarian situations around the world!
