Tonight's cloture motion has just gone down to defeat. No where near the 60 yea votes needed to cut off debate.

I was involved saying dont withhold votes from Republicans.
Change the party from within the primary process.
But no, we had to teach the Republicans a lesson by giving power to democrats.
Now, we will teach the Republicans a lesson by electing HIllary Clinton President.

We are not celebrating victory. We are celebrating a battle in a longer war where one mistep can cost us our entire Republic.

I honestly believe it’s going to have to take a big effort on the parts of us “regular Americans” to form some massive “border first” party. Instead of a “million man march” we need a “build the fence” gathering where we assemble enough people and materials ahead of time and just get the damn fence built.
If we were to build it, then what could they do - tear it down...atleast there would BE a FENCE or wall there. I think actions DO speak louder than words.
All else is just window dressing. We’ll lick our wounds and live to fight this monstrosity another day. The closer the day comes to “election” day.....the better this bill will become. That is a fact.

They sure do!. Some people were suckered into voting for the likes of TRENT LOTT, SAXBY CHAMBLISS, JON KYL, JOHN MCCAIN, LINDSEY GRAHAM and ARLEN SPECTRE.
It almost cost us the sovereignty of our Country. They won't make that mistake again.

That’s almost exactly what I just emailed both of my Senators. I suggest we take this opportunity to swamp them again with what we really want them to do, since it looks like they might have figured out (with a little help) what we DIDN’T want them to do.

If your polling data is so much better than the Rasmussen poll, this bill would have passed with flying colors and Nancy Pelosi would be having a vote in the house.
Last I heard, Nancy and the Democratic majority in the house have yet to bring immigration up. I wonder why? Afterall, they do have the majority.

Had he carried out the oath he swore to his God and executed the law by securing the borders, something probably could have been worked out with regard to a portion of the illegal aliens already here. But he's too inept to do even that. How history will judge him is entirely dependent on who writes the history, but in my book he's a failure.
