He is a failure because of his own inadequacies, yet he blames us, who have stood by him and advocated on his behalf through war and two brutal elections, for not supporting something that no conservative could support in good conscience. He called us rascists and nativists and likened us to those who opposed civil rights for blacks.

Had he carried out the oath he swore to his God and executed the law by securing the borders, something probably could have been worked out with regard to a portion of the illegal aliens already here. But he's too inept to do even that. How history will judge him is entirely dependent on who writes the history, but in my book he's a failure.

Let Bush make another mistake like Harriet Miers, Katrina, The Dubia Ports Deal etc and he will drop into the same tier as Jimmy Carter.
