Awesome. It is just a damn shame we cannot take advantage of our great arsenal in this war in Iraq and end it. I fear even the Administration has no guts for war.

Impressive backflips.
I can’t wait to see what an aircraft “parked” in the sky looks like, as mentioned at the end of the linked article.
All I can say is Wow!

Well, now I know what the U.S. military has done with all the anti-gravity technology we got from the Roswell crash site. That bird is AWESOME!!!!!

We can build an airplane like this but we can’t secure our borders? Yeah, right!

With its two Pratt & Whitney F119 engines vectoring their 35,000lb of afterburning thrust through +/-20º as an integral part of the flight-control system, the F-22 proves itself to be surprisingly agile, performing helicopter turns, tailsides and backflips. My, how times change.
When Sukhoi put TVN on their fighters, all the US fighter-jocks pooh-poohed it as unnecessary in a dogfight and how they'd love to have a Flanker try a cobra or other 3D manuever during combat.
Now that the F-22 has TVN, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Going to Wings Over Pittsburgh weekend after next.
Hope it’s there, but I don’t think so. :^(

In the first week of last years Northern Edge exercise in Alaska, for example, the F-22 achieved an unprecedented 114:0 kill ratio. There are no leakers, says Lawson. The F-22 has the ability to re-engage and defeat them before they can engage. Cool.
