It's been eight weeks since Time magazine redesigned itself, and part of that refurbishment is handing over the "Ten Questions" interview inquiries to the readers instead of Time's reporters. In the June 11 edition, Time's interviewee was Rep. Tom Tancredo, a presidential contender and one of the nation's leading opponents of illegal immigration. Among the questions Time selected for Tancredo was a whopper from Ubaldo Padilla of Oroville, California: "Why do you hate Mexicans?" It wasn't the only snotty question Time picked. There was also James Smith of Phoenix, who asked: "I recently found out my family came from Holland without permission in the 1600s. Should we be sent back?" For the questions: www.time.com

Since Time Managing Editor Richard Stengel introduced the new format in the March 26 edition, there haven't been any Democrats interviewed. But in the March 12 edition, Time's Massimo Calabresi had ten (mostly softball) questions for Ted Kennedy, one of the nation's leading advocates of an amnesty for illegal immigrants. No one at Time asked him about immigration and why he supposedly hated Americans.

According to the link, Hispanics make up only 17 percent of federal prisoners, which also proves the original post to be BS.
And as you also post - not all non-citizen prisoners are illegal, which only reinforces my point.

This post is even more disjointed than your last explanation. Maybe this is why your pings to others go unanswered. Can you not fend for yourself?
And your new “statistic”, which is anecdotal through “journalists” (with no backup, which makes it anecdotal by definition) now half of the original “statistic”. Which number is correct?
You then choose an entirely different and unrelated stat to try and prove your point. And what do American soldier deaths have to do with this? Answer: nothing.
There’s no disdain on my end for American laws or sovereignty. And please note the correct spelling of “disdain”.
And what proof are you referring to? The NTSB stats for traffic accidents? Google it yourself - the proof takes about 2 minutes to find. And making big shot comments about the weapon of your dreams is a shallow deflection means nothing as it relates to my point.
Understand - I don’t want people here illegally either. But your particular method of making the case/discourse does zero to help that cause. In fact, if that is the type of stuff headed to DC, then it’s no wonder the current immigration bill is likely to pass. What you offer is even less coherent than Tancredo.

Better answers for Tom might be
1. I don’t hate ‘Mexicans’... no, no, no... you misunderstood. I hate ‘’MAGAZINES’’. Particularly TIME magazine. You’ve read wrongly. (Oh, and that’s an ‘ly’ adverb...one of those pesky cultural things, by the way...)
2. Your ancestors weren’t BREAKING IMMIGRATION LAWS in the 1600s. Perhaps you should be sent back BECAUSE YOUR BREATHING GOOD U.S. AIR THAT SMARTER CITIZENS COULD BE BREATHING! (Oh, it does seem a little stuffy in here lately, doesn’t it?)
